My wife and I wanted to test drive a new CRV Hybrid, so we went to Ide Honda because of their good reputation. We were treated very cordially by Tye while we explained that we just wanted a test drive. He we went to Ide Honda because of their good reputation. In order to hold it while we considered purchasing, he required a $500 deposit and the paperwork was like a purchase agreement! Plus Ide Honda had a $2,000 markup on the sticker price! We drove home to think about it and were upset about the dealer markup, plus we didn't understand all the paperwork for a deposit. After much worried consideration, we called and cancelled the hold, but were told they couldn't just mail the deposit back, but we had to drive back to the dealership and show the receptionist our paperwork to retrieve our deposit! I did drive back and get my deposit, but after that hassle, we won't be returning. More
