Ide Honda is a family owned and operated Honda Dealership in Penfield, NY. It all started in 1970, when Dick Ide opened his first dealership in Fairport, NY. In 1973 he added the Honda franchise. A few years later, in 1977, he moved both dealerships to Panorama Trail.
In 1984, Dick's oldest son, Mitch Ide, opened Mitch Ide's Ideal Chevy-Olds-Geo in Geneseo, NY. Along with his wife, Anne, they ran the dealership until selling it in 2000.
In 2007 Mitch took on responsibility for the Honda dealership from his father and has been involved in daily operations. When we say family owned and operated, we mean it. Mitch is the owner, Anne is the CFO, their son, Rich is the VP.

A good salesman in hard to fiind I had purchased a car from Gene Ake in past and I felt like he was a fair and honest guy. My daughter is is a rough spot and needed a car ASAP. I rea I had purchased a car from Gene Ake in past and I felt like he was a fair and honest guy. My daughter is is a rough spot and needed a car ASAP. I reached out to Gene at the other dealership and alas, he was not there and they would not tell me where he went. I looked on Facebook and found him at IDE Honda. Gave him a call and told him the situation. He had several cars ready to show her, she was stressed out, but he made her feel comfortable, got her into a safe and reliable Honda that she could afford and made her laugh all at the same time. Not my first experience with Gene, but it was my first experience with IDE. Friendly, understanding and helpful staff. Thank you guys, I'll be back (unless I have to go looking for Gene again:-) More

New Car Purchase I purchased my 1st Honda from Brad Constantino, he was super friendly, very knowledgeable about what he was selling and there was no pressure to buy. During the purchase Brad kept in great contact with me about everything that was going on and made sure I had everything in order to pick up the vehicle. Taking delivery Brad spent the extra time with me to make sure that I knew the in/outs of the car going as far as showing me how to change the background image on my radio, to some this might be a small thing but having the knowledge to show someone a cool new feature the car offers was a high-point. I would recommend him and the dealership in the future. More

Great Experience. I had been searching and test driving different vehicles for almost a year. I narrowed it down to a couple different vehicles. I searched on line and I had been searching and test driving different vehicles for almost a year. I narrowed it down to a couple different vehicles. I searched on line and found the certified used 2016 Honda Pilot. I corresponded with Al who was a pleasure to work with. He had the vehicle ready to test drive after a bad snow storm. I liked the handling and the smooth ride. Ken handled the financing and he is a pleasure to work with as well. I had to bring the Pilot in for service within the second week due to a tire that kept losing air. Jim repaired the tire and has us back in the vehicle with in an hour. Ida Honda should be glad they have Jim working for them, he is funny and has high expectations about the work he completes. All employees I encountered there were wonderful and very knowledge about their job. It was a pleasure buying my 2016 Pilot at Ide Honda. More
