Started off browsing around the Imperial website to narrow down what vehicles I was interested in and get a starting point. Search interface was easy to use, with lots of filters to really drill down and begin to compare. Finished with a few vehicles I knew I wanted to look at. I called up Doug Hood and met him at Ford later that afternoon. We did a walk-around of each vehicle (a couple of Focuses) and he went through the various features of each one with me, as well as pointing out details to look for. We brought both of them side-by-side for a better comparison and test drove both vehicles. Sometimes when you ask someone about their experience buying a car, they might talk about being constantly pressured to buy, and this was certainly not the case. Doug knew the vehicles but more importantly, he made sure I was looking at vehicles that had what I needed and that I was genuinely interested in them. Very friendly, casual and I also learned a few things. Once the test drives were finished, I picked the vehicle I liked the best. Doug and I sat down to get started on the paperwork and Mike Kind came over, introduced himself and was very helpful in assisting the entire process, getting all the possible savings and approving the deal. My experience with Will Granata in finance was similar. Friendly, no stress and he made the entire process much easier than I imagined it would be. Will explained what all of the different documents meant before I signed them and he answered every question I had for him. We also found a payment that was perfect for me! I picked up the vehicle a couple days later, with Doug keeping in touch with me and giving me updates in the meantime. We ran through all the features again (just to be safe) and Doug made sure I understood how everything worked, especially as far as all of the lighting/ dash/ audio controls. This Focus has some more buttons than my previous car but once he walked me through, it made sense. He also followed-up with me over the next few days, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, I think I had such a good experience because of the people. Every dealership is going to have the same cars, so the staff is really what makes the difference. The employees at Imperial were friendly, helpful, professional, knew their information and most importantly, made sure that I stayed informed and enjoyed the process. I'll certainly recommend them to anyone I know! More

I worked with Doug Hood whom came highly recommended by parents who also just purchased a car through him. Doug gave excellent customer service and is a true asset to the Imperial team. He kept in touch throughout the entire process, took the time to go over all the features of the car, and he even came back into work after already working a full day already just to accommodate my schedule. Imperial is a great dealership and I've already recommended them to several coworkers and will continue to do so. We will definitely be going back to Imperial to see Doug for our next car! More

Completely Effortless I called Doug on a Thursday looking for a car, gave him my specifics and he called me back within the half hour with a deal. Doug went through every option, took time to make sure I was comfortable and followed up professionally at every turn. I would absolutely buy another car from Doug again and am glad that I took my brother's recommendation to do the same (who also bought an Explorer from Doug). More

Doug immediately reacted had my trade appraised , I was truly impressed with the value, Doug had previously put my reservation in for finance with Mr Nadim , and I was literally on the road in 3 hours. This included complementary lunch at the diner while the new car was prepped. Doug and Jeff were in sync, and both very easy to work with. I have three major Ford/Lincoln dealerships in RI to go to, they cannot hang with Imperial. Who would not drive an hr. to save a few grand??? More

Awesome sales experience!! Just purchased my first Ford SUV working with Dennis. He was great. Being a woman many salesmen still defer to the husband and it irritates me. What a great experience I recently got to work with Dennis Leoleis in order to get my new car. I had gone on the website and searched for used inventory. I found the exact ca I recently got to work with Dennis Leoleis in order to get my new car. I had gone on the website and searched for used inventory. I found the exact car I wanted within my price range. I walked into the dealership and was greeted by Dennis. He brought the car around and allowed me to take it for a test drive. I immediately fell in love. He walked me through the whole car buying process. He was able to get my old car as a trade in and also gave me some extra things like Miss Mendon Diner gift cards and a car wash gift card. I was able to drive my car home the next day! When I brought it home, I did notice a paint issue. I called him right away and he made arrangements for me to bring it in and then provided a rental car, while the repairs were being done. Dennis was very helpful and I would definitely come back and recommend him and Imperial to a friend. More
