I look forward for many more years to come to continuing my very positive relationship with Island Acura where my complete servicing needs are always met. I live near Brooklyn so I do not live closeby, but I gladly make the trip to Wantagh because I know my vehicle will receive the best servicing possible. Previous to owning my RDX, I was the proud owner of a 1992' Acura Integra GS (fully-loaded) that I purchased from Island Acura and pristinely kept in immaculate condition. I LOVED driving it and it received MANY compliments and offers from car enthusiasts eager to purchase it right on the spot. Drivers would literally ask me when stopped at a red light or tied up in a traffic jam how much I wanted for my car. My Integra only had 101,000 miles on it when I sadly had to retire it in 2022' because it needed a gear shift cable that Matt (in the Parts Department) tried desperately to find for 5 weeks because he knew how much I LOVED my car. He exhausted all of his resources. Unfortunately, the part was no longer available due to my Integra's age. It was a very sad day and felt as if I had to say "good bye" to a LONGTIME FRIEND :*( Because Joey ALWAYS made sure that my car received the appropriate mileage services, my Integra NEVER left me stranded on the road, requiring roadside assistance. That peace of mind is very reassuring and the reason I made another car purchase from Island Acura :) Also, both Joey and Matt, going above and beyond to help in any way possible, is something I will be forever grateful for. I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, the service manager, just this year and he graciously told me that if I ever have any questions or concerns...his door is always open. It just doesn't get any better 😊
