🚨 WARNING ABOUT ISLAND ACURA IN WANTAGH 🚨 I bought a brand new Acura MDX (paid over $70k) and the panoramic roof has been broken almost from the start. I’ve brought this car into Island Acura nine time brand new Acura MDX (paid over $70k) and the panoramic roof has been broken almost from the start. I’ve brought this car into Island Acura nine times for the same roof issue. Nine. After the ninth failed repair, they suddenly decided to blame me — claiming I somehow broke it. Why didn’t they blame me the first eight times? The car only has 18,000 miles. It still has the factory warranty (up to 50,000 miles). Yet Island Acura is now telling me they will not honor the warranty and that I need to call some 1-800 number. This dealership is a complete fraud. They’re more interested in protecting themselves than fixing a brand-new car under warranty. After nine visits and months of headaches, they’re gaslighting the customer instead of standing behind the product. If you’re thinking about buying an Acura or taking your car to Island Acura in Wantagh — think twice. This is how they treat customers.
