Charged $190 for a “diagnostic fee,” to see what was going on with my parking sensors and window motor. Came back and said I needed a new battery to fix the sensors. Cars never had an issue starting. I have an extended warranty that should cover both items, they refused to use it. They sent me an estimated charge of over $3000 for the repairs. I told them they could do my oil change and I’d pickup the next day. Went to pick it up and the oil change was not complete, so I left my vehicle there for three days and got no work complete. However they still charged me $190 for the “diagnostic fee.” Went to a local shop, they changed my oil, tested my battery, fixed the sensors for $140 and it was done in 2 hours. Worst service I’ve seen out of Jim Butler. More
We love Jim Butler. I purchased my first car from Butler back in the 80's when they were still on Watson. Stepped away for awhile and came back on a referral of my da I purchased my first car from Butler back in the 80's when they were still on Watson.
