You had my car for 2 days even though I knew what was wrong with it when I brought it in. It was a known issue with Impala emission system. Although I had a letter stating it would be fixed for free, so wrong with it when I brought it in. It was a known issue with Impala emission system. Although I had a letter stating it would be fixed for free, somehow there was a second thing that needed to be done to clean carbon from system due to this malfunction, and it would cost $170. I approved repair at 9:30 am on second day. I called at 4pm to check on it, and Kayla stated it wouldn't be repaired that day due to mechanic accident that required trip to ER. I stated that I was leaving to go out if town the next morning at 7:30 and would require a rental, and fortunately another mechanic stepped in and finished repair. However, once I arrived, paid and got in my car, the check engine light was still on. David took it back as it was after 6 and mechanics all gone, was unable to clear code so I have to bring it back yet again to figure out was is wrong with it. I usually have great service at Jim Butler but was very displeased with this appt. More

Nobody ever called to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle. All communications was me initiating. When I asked about this I was told there was a system down and no calls could be made out?!? If the appointment time I made means nothing as far as when my car is actually looked at then why cal it an appointment time? Mine was for Monday June 1 at 8:15am and my car wasn’t even looked at until Thursday June 4. The lack of communication regarding my car issues and this so called appointment time that I was told was just to speak to an associate was more than aggravating. I also found it a bit degrading that when i was told what was wrong with my car it was explained to me as if I didn’t know what was being said. (Like it was being dumbed down for me) It should not be assumed that a customer doesn’t know what is being talked about but rather if they don’t they should be the ones to ask for further explanation. More
