It was almost 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so by taking care of customer's using 'The Golden Rule".

Just purchased my fourth BMW and first EV from Karl Knauz BMW. I was apprehensive as this was an online purchase, at great distance so trust is paramount. As it has turned out I was worried unnecessarily a BMW. I was apprehensive as this was an online purchase, at great distance so trust is paramount. As it has turned out I was worried unnecessarily as Spencer Parker, my sales person I dealt with, was outstanding...best ever cars sales experience I've had bar none! Once Spencer and I arrived at a price, he guided and assisted me through the paperwork labyrinth effortlessly and painlessly. He even steered me to the transport company I needed to have my "new" car delivered to my residence in Virginia. Kudos to Spencer and to Karl Knauz Motors for providing such a satisfying car buying experience. More

Just purchased my 5th BMW from Knauz. They always do a great job and treat me fairly. This time our sales person was Sam, and he was incredible. We ordered the car from Germany and he kept us up to speed on the process and timing on a regular basis. His side kick Luke did a fantastic job educating us on the car and showing us how to use all the features. Both Luke and Sam also helped us choose what colors and color combinations looked best. Just a very pleasant experience working with Sam and Luke. More
