I think Ken Garff is a great and reliable dealer. Easy to work with. My only beef is with with the service department. They generally do a great job but I find their promotion of "express service" to Easy to work with. My only beef is with with the service department. They generally do a great job but I find their promotion of "express service" to be misleading at best. An oil change without an appointment is anything but express. If you can't deliver express service, don't advertise it. My biggest issue however, something I have asked on multiple occasions and always without a reasonable explanation. When they do an oil service they check multiple things. Two of the things they look at are the air filter an the cabin filter. They actually take each filter out, video them, and then put them back in. What I have asked before is if I approve replacement of both, why can't they replace the filters without charging a labor fee? It makes no sense to me. You are already doing the work, one way or the other. Why would you want to charge for something that is helpful to your customer when doing so is not costing you anything and would encourage the customer to purchase the parts from you. I am sure you have a mark-up on your parts so wouldn't this be more profitable than to have the customer go elsewhere to buy the parts. Please help me to understand the rational, because rather than walking away feeling good about the service I just received, I walk away with a negative feeling about the $100+ I just spent. If you could give me a response to this question, that obviously eats at me every time I service either of my two cars, it would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. Are you "Listening" More
