Took my car in for service stated vibrations at highway speeds, and clunking while making slight left turns on curves. Service department, never took my car on the highway for a test drive, but they were q speeds, and clunking while making slight left turns on curves. Service department, never took my car on the highway for a test drive, but they were quick to recommend, brake and rotor replacement, also high speed balancing. When I suggested highway test drive, Mr. Edgar Gonzales wanted to charge me another diagnostic fee, in addition to the first diagnostic fee, which did not resolve anything. Since my concern was highway driving vibrations, I asked why didn't they take it on the highway, and charge me the fee accordingly, and response was there are no highway nearby. At no time I expressed concerns about vibrations while braking. The last time I was in the service department for service 2000 miles ago, I was told the rear brakes were worn out, to change them soon, If I don't, rotors may need to be shaved, or maybe replaced, and nothing was said about the front brakes, but Mr. Gonzales was quick to tell me I need new brakes and rotors. Mr. Gonzales stated my car needs wheel balance, and the technician stated on the work order "may need balancing". If you do not ask for the complimentary car wash, you take your vehicle home with oil stains, which are left by the technician. Bottom line, I was charged diagnostic fees for recommendations, and not to find and resolve the issue. I doubt I'll be going back to their service department again. More
I visited Liberty Subaru on Saturday, May 29th. It had been my third visit so far and my last two services were positive, however, this last visit was exceptionally disappointing. My car was serviced due to a suspicious noise that I'd been hearing for about a week. After 3 1/2 hours and a $600 bill, I drove off thinking my issue had been resolved. To my dismay, there were more problems after the service that were not diagnosed at the time of the visit. The service center staff was not willing to provide a solution despite their oversight. The "manager" stated when I called that "they do not perform diagnostics on Saturdays", which is laughable because I initially visited on a Saturday and always have in my previous services. The dishonesty and unwillingness to help rectify the situation led me to leave a poor review. I resorted to taking my vehicle to my personal mechanic to assess the problem and he was confounded how Liberty replaced the bushings on my vehicle and did not notice that the arm controls were damaged. Unfortunately, I paid an additional labor fee to repair the issue that was neglected by Liberty's service team. in the first place. I would never return to have my vehicle serviced here, do better. Glad I trusted the reviews for Liberty Subaru on this site. I can attest that Bob Osterlof and his team are great. I had a TPMS issue for several months. Initially I went to a different dealer in Norther site. I can attest that Bob Osterlof and his team are great. I had a TPMS issue for several months. Initially I went to a different dealer in Northern NJ 3 times and the issue was never corrected. Took a break and then found these great reviews for Bob and his team at Liberty Subaru and figured I’d give them a try rather than returning to the same dealership for a 4th time. Bob and his team exceeded my expectations and finally corrected the issue once and for all and I am very grateful for being able to rely on the TPMS system not having to see the warning lights pop on and off while driving now. I highly recommend Bob Osterlof and the service department at Liberty Subaru! More

Being a 12 time Subaru Owner, I have done ALL my new car buying from Liberty. And being a local Mechanic, I come in only for warranty and service I deem I am not up to. Bearing that in mind, my wife and I were heading down I-287 Sunday when my CkEng light and others came on. I carry a code reader with me and found P2764. CVT solenoid failure. Car was still drivable , but chose to head home. Called Liberty and talked to Bob Osteroff Monday morning. I have dealt with him since my 1982GL. He said if I dropped the car off, the would TRY to fit it in since I did NOT have a scheduled appointment. I did so and relayed what I knew. HE gave me an estimate right then. Tuesday evening, Got a call from Christopher Armeli that that my IMPREZA was already done. Got the final price and picked it up Wednesday morning. My Impreza drove just as it did before the failure. THIS IS A COMPLIMENT, as if NOTHING HAPPENED or was replaced. Liberty Service is second to none. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !!!!! And DJ, I just wanted you to be aware that I still talk up and promote Liberty to everyone I know. More

Previous dealership service department in Orange County NY never ever got me out of their waiting room in under 3 hours, or billed me for service under $300 each time we got serviced.
