My 2018 Hyundai Tucson that I've only owned for 5 years had the connecting rod Come apart and go through my engine block this is a known issue with the car, there are active lawsuits about it and lawsuits had the connecting rod Come apart and go through my engine block this is a known issue with the car, there are active lawsuits about it and lawsuits that hyundai has lost regarding it. I kept the last 3 years of my oil changes but didn't have the first two years they wouldn't honor my warranty and they charged me to diagnose the problem, even though I had already paid another mechanic to do that when my engine stopped working suddenly the highway with no warning or engine or oil lights on. I had to pay out of pocket to get it towed to Hyundai after the other mechanic told me it should be under warranty and it's a common problem and then also for them to take my engine apart as an excuse to tell me that I "neglected" my engine which I didn't. The engines are also known for high oil consumption. They quoted me 13000 for an engine replacement. So basically my car i just paid off that was CPO is a 10s of thousands of dollars hunk of useless metal. More
