Good customer service Being a first time new car buyer, I found the task to be rather intimidating. Thomas was quite helpful and personable. Overall as far as the customer Being a first time new car buyer, I found the task to be rather intimidating. Thomas was quite helpful and personable. Overall as far as the customer service side of things Lokey was great, but I did not feel that they were trying to get me the best possible deal. The truck is great and I am enjoying driving it, but their detailing department did not deliver it spotless There were ants nesting inside the glovebox and underneath the cup holders (and possibly elsewhere as I still find one occasionally.) My rating is average due to the lack of transparency in the deal making process and the fact that my truck was not cleaned to where I expected it to be. As I stated, they staff were personable and friendly. The showroom was clean and comfortable, my wait to be helped was minimal. More

Worst experience ever This is the worst experience that I have ever had at a car dealership. My husband had been in contact with the internet salesman. The price online h This is the worst experience that I have ever had at a car dealership. My husband had been in contact with the internet salesman. The price online had been crossed out, and said 23 thousand and some. My husband even questioned when speaking to the person if that was the price we would get plus tax, tags, and title. He said yes. He also offered a sight unseen appraisal amount of $15,500. So, my husband and I scheduled an appointment. When we got there, all of a sudden they were only going to give us a little under $14000 for our trade, even though the internet salesperson in person said that they had already offered us $15500. Then, they told us that unless you finance with us, we go back to the original slashed out price that was online. By the way, that price was $35000 and some change. They said we didn’t qualify for any of the rebates/discounts because we weren’t financing with them. In addition, this dealership advertises free oil changes for life. However, my husband and I figured out that you are really paying for them when they add their care package onto the price of your vehicle for almost $3000 (which I have never heard of any other dealership doing this). Oh, by the way, the internet sales guy did not mention that upcharge either when quoting a price. Then, they have a dealer fee of $899 on top of that (this was not mentioned either). They charge $3000 for tax, tag, and title. Two months ago I bought a different vehicle for about the same price, and was only charged about $2000 for tax, tag, and title. I believe that they are pocketing that extra money that they are quoting in tax, tag, and title. In addition, after our vehicle was appraised below what they originally offered us, they refused to give us back our car keys. I asked the salesman four times, and finally received them back forty minutes later. When I was handed them back, they said that they only brought them back out of respect to me. Every other dealer that has appraised a vehicle for me, has given my keys back to me immediately after finishing the appraisal without me even having to ask for them. Oh, I forgot to mention the best question they asked when we were getting our car appraised is “Would we be willing to sell it privately?”. Of course, we said no because the internet salesperson had already offered us $15500 for it. At $15500 our car that we were trading had an equity of $3000. We had already received a pre-approval from our credit union on the basis that they were giving us $15500 for the trade, and the internet price online was $23 thousand and some change. Therefore, we asked the credit union for $26000 to be on the safe side. They only cut us a check for $10500 because the trade and equity would make the total purchase price $26000. We thought that this would be more than enough, since the internet sales said $23000 and take off $3000 in equity, and we figured tax, tag, and title would be around $2000 like it was two months ago. Therefore, my husband and I really thought that it would be more than enough. Of course, this was not true at all with all of their hidden fees and them not honoring any of their own rebates posted online. No where online does it say that you have to finance with them!!! To make matters worse, my husband is prior military. They said you don’t even get a military discount unless you finance with them. My husband and I have bought four other vehicles and always have financed through Navy Federal, and every other brand has still given a military discount. They kept us, I felt like hostage for 5 hours talking to our credit union and arguing with us. They said in the end we had to apply for $3500 more loan amount and they of course kept questioning why I would want to deal with my own credit union and not theirs. By the way, all the other dealers have said my pre-approval from my credit union, Navy Federal, is the easiest to process. In my mind, this is a really big diss to the military being that Navy Federal services all the branches of our nation’s military. Finally, I walked out with my husband 5 hours later with the manager running and chasing after us in the parking lot. I just wanted to leave this nightmare, and go to any other dealership but Nissan. This is my first and last experience that I will ever have with Nissan. I do not recommend any veteran go to Nissan and put up with this con artists and be treated the way that we were. After leaving, we drove straight to our second choice to buy a car, and were in and out with a new Fiat and traded our car through our pre-approval with Navy Federal with a military discount and under our check amount. They had no dealer fee, care fee, or raised tax, tag, and title. In fact, they even offered us $500 under our pre-approval amount when they heard that my husband was a veteran and because of the discount we got the tire and wheel package. We now have a new Fiat under our loan pre-approval amount, and will never have to worry about replacing a tire on it for 5 years with free car washes for life. More
My experience was ok but not the best. My experience with Lokey Nissan was OK but not the best. I went in to get a Nissan Altima but they offer me another car which was a Chrysler 200 aft My experience with Lokey Nissan was OK but not the best. I went in to get a Nissan Altima but they offer me another car which was a Chrysler 200 after two days of having the car I realize the car was running a little hot and I could smell coolant so I brought the car back so they can look at the car and they told me there was nothing wrong with the car. I end up taking the car to Chrysler and They told me that the radiator was cracked and they had to replace the radiator and the thermostat. Thank God that the car was still under the factory warranty so that was able to be replaced for free. A month has passed and my paper tag has expired, after going to the DMV and seeing what was wrong and why I haven’t received my registration and my decal for my tag the DMV informed me that the dealership haven’t did any of my paperwork to my car which was very upsetting. With this being my first time getting a car with payments, to me it was not the best. More
