I started an online search of Toyota dealers to find myself a new Tacoma to buy. After speaking with and visiting a few dealerships, I decided on Longo Toyota and salesman Fred Williams. I believe it wa myself a new Tacoma to buy. After speaking with and visiting a few dealerships, I decided on Longo Toyota and salesman Fred Williams. I believe it was the right choice. Fred comes across as an honest and transparent salesman, a good guy all around. He will not mislead you to make a sale and will stand behind what he sells. Any questions that I had, he answered with no problem. If he didn't know the answer he would find out. I had a great experience with Fred during my purchase. In fact if your interested in buying a car.. I would definitely recommend you see Fred Williams. I even had additional accessories added to my truck. Fred made sure that process went smoothly as well. I would recommend Fred Williams to anyone, including my own family, who is looking to buy a new or used Toyota. I couldn't end this review without giving a good recommendation and a thank you to Noli Evangelista in the Service Dept. He did a great job setting everything up for the accessory install. He was honest about the amount of time it would take to complete the job. Had the truck ready when he said it would be ready. Patiently answered all my questions. These two gentlemen definitely made my experience and purchase at Longo Toyota a good one.. More
The dealership is ok, however the time you take to service a car is awful. I waited 4 hours for my oil change. 4 hours I cannot get back. It did not used to be like this before. I inquired about ordering a '23 4Runner SR5 Premium (without a moonroof) and Kevin Lam, the Digital Sales Manager, said that the one I want is impossible to get because of some excuse about COVID short (without a moonroof) and Kevin Lam, the Digital Sales Manager, said that the one I want is impossible to get because of some excuse about COVID shortages and that the factory in Japan is only sending out what they want to make and not what the dealerships/customers request via their builds. I then suggested that it has to be possible to find a SR5 Premium in the color I want without a moonroof. Kevin then had the audacity to tell me that I can call the factory in Japan if I want and ask them myself. To which I said no thank you, I will just take my business to another dealership. He then said, that I will call him back in 15 minutes when I realized I was wrong. I was shocked at the cockiness of Kevin. I told him that I work in sales and while he may think he is using an effective sales strategy with me, I assured him it backfired. I thanked him for his time and let him know that unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I will find a different Toyota dealership to purchase my new 4Runner More
