Thanks for all the great help! TJ has now helped us get into two new Kia cars in the past 9 months. Both times TJ listened to our wants & needs and made recommendations on what he thought would be the right cars for us. Our new Sportage and our daughter's Forte were spot on. TJ made the whole process of buying a car fast, easy and stress free! Our family of four have now owned 5 Kia's over the years and have never had any issues with any of them. Great Place to purchase a car from TJ my sales person was very knowledgeable and personable! This helped the Buying process a little less stressful. I came into the store knowing what I thought I wanted but after he asked a few questions and nailing down what we would really need (something not as big due to our other big vehicle we own) he lead us to the Sporting! What a great experience We started out that day knowing we were going to buy an SUV. We had two brands in mind as we had studied consumer reports. It was a matter of how the vehicle handled on the test drive and the ease of entering and exiting vehicle. Not so young anymore, so the ease of getting into the vehicle top on my list. We also had looked at pricing with the options important to us. The driver seat of the Sorrento had an extend out and that was appealing to my tall husband. The ease of getting to the 3rd row seating interested me, as well as the ease entering the vehicle as I am shorter. I had to say from start to finish Chris was there to address any questions we had with the Sorrento. The technology side was important to understand. He was very clear on describing and helping us understand the great safety features as well as the dash technology with maps and blue tooth available. The vehicle was not on lot, but no problem they found what we wanted and had it there the next day. To be perfectly honest, from Chris to the financial who did our paperwork, this was a win win situation. I want to add that 30 days prior we bought a Cascada convertible from Luther Brooklyn Park and that experience led us to stay with Luther group. Never went down the road to look at other vehicle! Almost Walked Out Sales was nice and friendly, had car we wanted, he said we'd talk to finance regarding price and financing. After waiting for 2.5 hours, being told th Sales was nice and friendly, had car we wanted, he said we'd talk to finance regarding price and financing. After waiting for 2.5 hours, being told they'd be ready for us every half we finally went into financing. Finance wrote up the loan for full sticker price after never talking about price. They said I was pre-approved for that amount, so I should be ok with that price. I was extremely upset about that. They did come down a little on price, but then tried to sell me a loan a full a point higher than my pre-approval. Again, very disappointed in the process. The did finally use my pre-approval for the loan. After agreeing on a price and the loan, it was a very hard sell on all the warranty and service packages they sell. They even said I like to waste money because I would not buy a service package they were selling. Overall, it was disappointing, I literally had to be a jerk to not be taken advantage of during the process. Why not agree to sell at fair price and fair process, it felt like I was going to be taken advantage of at every turn. I did get the car I was looking for but not fun at all. More
