I live over 100 miles away from any Mercedes dealership, but had owned several Mercedes decades ago, so I decided to make the trek to browse and fell in love with a Mars red C300 at first sight. However, they didn't meet my trade-in price requirement for my like-new two year old car, so I went home empty handed. Then the next day, out of the blue, Mike called and said, "Come on back, we can work it out, at your price, which I did and I am very happy with the rapid response and deal, not to mention the Mercedes C300! Where to begin…so, I went to another dealership closer to my home to see and test drive a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. It was a last-minute decision to drop by on my way home from a job where I'd my home to see and test drive a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. It was a last-minute decision to drop by on my way home from a job where I'd spent most of the day outside in the elements. OK, so I wasn't dressed up but was instead in jeans and work boots. As I walked through the dealership showroom, not one person there would even glance in my direction. I then spent 20 minutes roaming around the parking lot looking through the windows. Finally, I went back inside to seek help, and a man grudgingly put down his cell phone to open a vehicle so I could take a peek inside. Not exactly a welcoming reception for someone seriously interested in purchasing a $60,000 vehicle. That night I got online and sent a quote request to Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. I immediately received a response, and before I knew it I was chatting with Wes Whetsone who filled me in on the available vehicles and answered my questions. The next day the deal was all finalized over the telephone, and a few days later I traveled to Maryland to pick up my new ML 350. When I arrived, my vehicle was ready and waiting, and the papers prepared and signed within minutes. Wes spent nearly an hour going over the vehicle with me, explaining in detail all of the amenities and even synching my iPhone and inputing my address in the navigation for the drive home. It was by far the best car-buying experience I've ever had, and my son was especially thrilled to see me return home with a 2-pound box of chocolate as a thank-you gift. I've purchased many new vehicles over the years and felt like I was just another number in their monthly quota. Not here. I went in as a stranger and left as a member of the Mercedes of Hagerstown family. Pretty cool. More

Since the car was originally sold and serviced by MB of Hagerstown, he also arranged an interview with Marty, who answered all of my questions on the past service history of the car. The car is 12 years old, and, after examining it and driving for a day or two now, I honestly can't tell that it isn't a brand new car. I think that's truly an indication of the level of quality, customer care, and service of the dealership. I would heartily recommend Barry and Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown to anyone seeking a new or used car. More

I went to Mercedes Of Hagerstown in search of an all wheel drive car. The one in the advertisement was not a good fit. Barry took me on my first german experience with the Audi and some of the CSeries wheel drive car. The one in the advertisement was not a good fit. Barry took me on my first german experience with the Audi and some of the CSeries sedans. I ended up in a GLK350 because it was the right size in and out. The only sacrifice from my Hyundai was the rear camera. Barry was put through his paces keeping up with my uncertainty and on again off again trepidation. Through all my doubts and an avalanche of questions he stayed the course. I love the car and I will look forward to my next experience with Barry. I see an upgrade in my future.
