In early March, I purchased a 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 from Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown. Overall, I had a positive experience, which I have documented in a separate review on DealerRater. The subject of this review is an after-sale experience I had with the license plate bracket on my AMG C43. When I purchased the vehicle in March, Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown installed a temporary plate on the vehicle. On May 1, my permanent license plate arrived in the mail, and I set out to swap it onto my vehicle. One of the bolts holding the temporary plate in place had been screwed in especially tightly, and when I tried to unscrew it, the license plate bracket snapped. I determined at this point that I needed a new bracket. I was surprised when the first two dealerships I called asked me to make an appointment to swap the bracket, given that it would be no more than a 5-10 minute job. The third dealership I called (Mercedes-Benz of Bloomfield Hills) let me come by right away, and they swapped on the new bracket very quickly. However, I was frustrated when they refused my request to treat the bracket failure as a warranty claim and instead charged me $70 for it. I complained to Mercedes-Benz USA, and they recommended that I contact the dealership that sold me the vehicle: Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown. I corresponded with sales manager Austin Shemon, who was polite, understanding, and helpful. He quickly agreed to reimburse me for the majority of the cost of the bracket and overnighted me a check. Based on my positive experience, I recommend Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown to anyone who is looking to purchase a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. More

Happy to see Mr. Morales is still on board. We met when he first moved his family to the area, and he really impressed me with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Being qualified and experienced working on Sprin he first moved his family to the area, and he really impressed me with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Being qualified and experienced working on Sprinter vans is no small thing for me due to driving 20K a year including through two mountain ranges in WV and CO. Great car buying experience I went to have my normal service done on my car last Monday, and when I went back to pick it up, another car caught my eye. As I was walking around th I went to have my normal service done on my car last Monday, and when I went back to pick it up, another car caught my eye. As I was walking around the car, Mike came out and began talking to me about it. He offered a test drive, which I took and very much enjoyed. I was undecided as to whether or not to trade my car in, I loved it, but it was a 2011 and this was a newer car. Mike gave me options on purchasing in regards to financing options and all the car's specs. I left without buying, but thought about it for the next two days and decided to go for it. I called Mike on Thursday morning, and asked him to start the paperwork. I went to the dealership around 2:00 and was leaving in my new car a little over an hour later...after he showed me how everything worked. I will continue to purchase my cars from this dealership and Mike! More
