At Mercedes-Benz of Princeton, we are committed to providing every client with a service experience that is both enjoyable and dependable. We understand and respect your concerns regarding the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) system. This feature, commonly paired with Automatic Brake Hold, has become standard on nearly all vehicles in the U.S. market. Environmental factors — such as moisture from rain, car washes, or proximity to large bodies of water — can occasionally cause the system to behave more sensitively, which is considered normal operation. To better address your concerns, we offered several options, including having our Master-Certified Shop Foreman personally evaluate the issue with you present. We also invited you to leave the vehicle with us for further analysis. Unfortunately, both offers were declined. While we respect your decision, these steps would have helped us investigate more thoroughly. We remain committed to resolving the matter and would be happy to revisit it at your convenience.
