I bought a used Honda Clarity (great car! ) on October 4,2021 and also purchased a vehicle service agreement for $2850 from North Shore Honda, underwritten by the Zurich Insurance Company and ) on October 4,2021 and also purchased a vehicle service agreement for $2850 from North Shore Honda, underwritten by the Zurich Insurance Company and I cancelled it with Zurich on November 18, 2021, within Zurich’s 60-day full refund cancellation date. Richard Cerami told me that Zurich was the “official” insurer for Honda. This is of course BS. I have since gotten a Honda Care service contract for about alf the cost of the Zurich with better coverage. Under the Zurich contract, I should have gotten a full refund ($2850), but instead North Shore Honda submitted a check for a refund to Santander Consumer (the holder of my auto loan) in the amount of $565 which was cashed by Santander on 12/13/2021. Santander was supposed to be able to apply the full $2850 to my auto loan. As of today, 3/13/2022, the missing $2285 has still not been received by Santander. Based upon the Santander interest rate for the loan, the outstanding refund since 12/13/2021 is accruing interest of $0.9065 per day, North Shore Honda claims that the missing $2285 is a “cancellation fee”. There is no mention of a cancellation fee in the Zurich Contract or purchase agreement from North Shore. This is fraud on the part of North Shore Honda. STAY FAR AWAY. VERY SLIMEY. Filings are being made with the Nassau County and NY State Consumer Affairs Office, and I’m looking into Small Claims Court or a private law suit. Also, Richard Cerami told me that they replaced the A/C Condenser and absorbed the cost. The A/C condenser failed within two weeks after I brought the car home. It was then replaced under a Honda recall. Just more BS from North Shore. More
Avoid this place - shady and slimy dealership practices. They took advantage of my elderly father - he went in, wanting to lease a Honda CR-V EX (MSRP is $31,380). Him and the salesman agreed on $35,380 (+$ They took advantage of my elderly father - he went in, wanting to lease a Honda CR-V EX (MSRP is $31,380). Him and the salesman agreed on $35,380 (+$4K dealer markup because of the shortage, I get it). Additionally, he traded in his previous car, a VW Tiguan, for $10,000 (currently for sale on the dealership's website, for $15,995). HOWEVER.. When it came to meeting with the finance manager, Val, she took it upon herself to jack up the price to $38,625.34.. and then added another mysterious $996.93 charge, bringing the gross capitalized cost of the car to $39,622.27. Let's break down this "deal": * $12,170 down * $289.92 for 39 months = $11,306.88 * $21,966 balloon payment Add all that up and... $45,422.88... for a CR-V EX (with no add-ons, nor extended warranties) that had an MSRP of $31,380? Where did this extra $14,042.88 come from? Well, let's look at this a little further.. The dealer markup was $4,000, so that leaves us with $10,042.88. My dad's trade-in was valued at $10,000. They essentially stole his trade-in by rolling it back into the cost of the car. Now, yes, I get it, it's the responsibility of the buyer to read the paperwork before signing, but as I mentioned before, my father is elderly, had a lot of numbers thrown at him throughout the day, and had spent nearly 7 hours in the dealership trying to get this car. However, the fault does not solely rest on his shoulders - this incredibly slimy and dishonest dealership should face consequences for taking advantage of people like this. Please, dear readers, look at this situation and understand the tactics this dealership uses. Do not do business with them. More

Noel Ledesma and Corey DiGiacomo are exceptional sales persons. Corey providing the information for an online sale and starting the finance process. Then Noel finishing the sale at the dealership. As I wa persons. Corey providing the information for an online sale and starting the finance process. Then Noel finishing the sale at the dealership. As I was driving away with the Civic I noticed and issue with the window. Noel came out to the parking to see what was going on. He immediately took the car in to the shop and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. Great experience. BTW I drove 85 miles from NJ to this location for the great deal. More
This year both my husband and I started dealing with Andrew Perry at North Shore Honda in need of two leased automobiles. It has been truly an effortless and excellent experience. Both Andrew and Bill Andrew Perry at North Shore Honda in need of two leased automobiles. It has been truly an effortless and excellent experience. Both Andrew and Bill Binninger, Manager were accommodating and service oriented. For numerous years, we had dealt with another Honda dealership. Our sales agent retired several years ago and the new sales person was not as pro-active and leasing was problematic at that location. More
This is the second time we've dealt with Noel and Rich at North Shore Honda. Because our 1st experience was so good, there was no question we would go back a second time. Noel is a great salesman, but he i North Shore Honda. Because our 1st experience was so good, there was no question we would go back a second time. Noel is a great salesman, but he is an amazing person! He went over and above to be sure we got the car we wanted. Rich in Finance made it affordable. They genuinely care about their customers, and they truly make you feel like family! There's no doubt I will be back a North Shore Honda the next time I need a car. North Shore Honda should be happy to have these 2 amazing men representing them. More
Just purchased our third Honda from Jack Walsh. Feeling we needed to do our homework we did look at other makes, models & dealers. After getting yanked around, outright lied to, having our license held ho we needed to do our homework we did look at other makes, models & dealers. After getting yanked around, outright lied to, having our license held hostage for hours by others we made our back to Jack Walsh at North Shore Honda. Honest, forthcoming, no pressure, a straight shooter, no BS. A pleasure to work with! First car I bought from Jack I was pregnant with my son, this car, I walked in and said, He just finished his masters! Jack is family! More
Carlo Realmuto and the rest of the service team go above and beyond to ensure the job is done right and done fairly. We've rarely had problems with any Hondas we've owned... but when we did we truly apprec and beyond to ensure the job is done right and done fairly. I called in the day before to check inventory, discuss pricing, and book a next day viewing. I was told we could make things work and maybe negotiate. Their tune completely changed when I arrived. I showe pricing, and book a next day viewing. I was told we could make things work and maybe negotiate. Their tune completely changed when I arrived. I showed up and tried to find someone to get to my appointment. I was passed off to someone else and they wrote a number down on a piece of paper and told me to take it or leave it. Also the inventory information I was given was completely inaccurate. Either I was lied to the day before or they sold over half their inventory in a days time. Either way, the same cars are still listed as available on their website. I have no problems with a dealership being firm on pricing, etc. However I don't appreciate the deceptive practices this dealer used to get me in the door and waste my time. I came in ready to leave with a car and left without even looking at one. More
