First time Honda Buyer - Very Impressed! We bought our first Honda and had it delivered today - a 2019 CR -V Touring. We went to North Shore Honda because it was the closest dealer and happened to be rated highly. Andrew was our salesperson, Richard the business manager, and Gary, the manager. It was a great experience overall! From the first day when we met Andrew, he was pleasant and helpful. Then, we came back the next day and we decided to buy the car. Andrew was thorough in answering our questions as we were having a test drive. It then came time to begin the paperwork, determine what we would get for our trade-in and negotiate a price. We were thoroughly happy with the price that Andrew came up with, and even more so, the trade in value we received for our old car. Later, we met with Richard to discuss the kinds of financing available and the extended warranties. He was a down-to-earth, no b.s. kind of guy who helped us make the right decision in terms of warranty and financing. Today, when we picked up the car, again, Andrew was fantastic. He showed us everything (and there is much to learn with all the features). He answered all our questions, and we were ready to take the car home. Then, Gary, the manager, came over to speak with us - and asked us about our experience. Another honest-type guy - who seemed very authentic in his concern for our sales/buying experience and promised continued assistance as long as we own the car. I had just purchased another new car (not a Honda) about 2 months ago - and the differences between dealers were particularly noticeable. I would highly recommend North Shore Honda, and if you do go, ask for Andrew. Given this experience, I have every reason to believe that the service department will handle our future maintenance needs well. After all my readings I didnt really trust car sales people, but after working with Jose I am very happy with my purchase and would work with Jose again for any of my future car needs. do not believe everything they tell you I bought a used certified crv. The salesperson printed a Carfax which showed all the work done by North shore Honda. Among other things it stated, as he also did, that the front and rear brakes and rotors were replaced. Two years and 10 thousand miles later the rear brakes were grinding. Yup, I had to replace them. Also needed front struts and new tires. I was told when purchasing the tires were new by two different people. It appears to me they are not very trustworthy. If you buy a used vehicle, you better have your own mechanic check it first. I am seriously thinking about going on Facebook to share my dissatisfaction ! More

He never tried to pressure us, hide anything from us, deceive us, or treat us as if we were marks. He simply said, go do what you need to do, and come back when you know this is the best place to lease the car. We went to other Honda dealerships, and he war right. Every other dealership either tried to screw us or couldn't offer a competitive price (or both). We left every other dealership except North Shore amazed at what had been said to us, from the sleaze to outright lies. We came back to Harold with the knowledge that we made the absolute right decision. More

A Family of North Shore Honda Customers This is my first time purchasing a car for myself at North Shore Honda. My sister had leased several cars from NSH, my husband bought his CR-V there a This is my first time purchasing a car for myself at North Shore Honda. My sister had leased several cars from NSH, my husband bought his CR-V there as our first family car, my father-in-law purchased his Odyssey from NSH. So when it was time for me to look for a new car, it was obvious to go directly to NSH. The staff is super friendly and helpful. When I first got there, Noel helped me when I was considering a pre-owned vehicle. As he was attending to other customers, Derek took me on a test drive and answered all my questions since my previous car didn't have all the features in newer cars. He walked me through the different considerations for the pre-owned versus a new vehicle purchase. At the end, I settled for a brand new HR-V sport and I couldn't be happier. Eddie was great explaining all the options when it was time to settle and finance my purchase. He was detailed about all the add-ons, and I appreciated his honesty. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything I didn't want. Working mainly through Derek, the whole finalization process was quick, painless (since I hate paperwork), and importantly, I felt well attended to. With this new vehicle, I won't be in the market for a new car for a while, but I will definitely recommend NSH to everyone I know who is looking for a new car. More

What makes the experience even better is dealing with Richard Cirami who is known as the Carman of New York and probably the best finance director I have ever dealt with. I have bought Mercedes-Benz and not have the detailing attention that he offers. These two vehicles were for family members who had some credit challenges and Richard went the distance to get us tear one rates payments that were affordable and blanketed the vehicles with service contracts that will take care of all the maintenance in the future. If you want an incredible experience this is the place to go to these are the people to deal with and the outcome is always the same, you’re satisfied you’re happy and you know you got a great deal.
