I had an appointment at 11:00 for an oil change and tire rotation which could take up to 2 hours. After an hour and a half, they said that a wheel alignment was needed. When they finally finished, the car was marred with white paint, scratches and noticeable black marks. They were not there when I brought the car in. When I brought this to their attention, they made excuses and only reluctantly cleaned off the marks. I left dissatisfied! More

Have you ever lost something that you loved? Well I did when I visited Oakbrook Toyota. My visit at this dealership was so many things; disheartening, discouraging, disappointing, and down right infuriatin when I visited Oakbrook Toyota. My visit at this dealership was so many things; disheartening, discouraging, disappointing, and down right infuriating. On Tuesday, my dad called about a specific car with a specific VIN number. He was told that the car was there and that I can make an appointment to take a look. When I saw the price and the pictures of this car, I knew I didn’t have to look. I was ready to buy. With my checkbook in hand, I called Wednesday morning and made an appointment with Melanie to come that same day for that exact car and she assured me it was still there. When I got there after an hour drive, a salesman that was not Melanie said the car was gone! It was sold yesterday! The day before I called to make an appointment! My heart dropped down to my butt. I was livid. The salesman then lamely tried the bait and switch scam technique to sell me another car but I had no interest. I thought, “This place doesn’t deserve my money!” Melanie finally came out of her hiding spot to apologize but the damage was done. Why didn’t she tell me the car was gone when I made the appointment?! Why didn’t she let me know?! The worst part is that when I tell this story to others, they don’t act too surprised.
