not happy after trade in Ben Franklin was awesome to work with and had I had him as a salesman in the beginning we may not have been in the situation we were put in. Ben is very thourall and I believe should be a trainer and mentor to all the other salesman. I was not happy with my first trade in as it was basically a piece of junk that never should have been on any of your car lots. It should have been sold at an auction as it had been wrecked and not repaired properly and practically every selling point on the vehicle as in electronics did not work and being this was a handicap van everything needed to work properly. This van even had an issue with it raining inside the vehicle as the handicap door was not sealed properly so I asked the salesman working with us then which was not Ben to get them to seal the door and tighten up a loose panel on the driver's door before we took it. He took it to the back and returned starting they could not seal the door and the panel that needed tightening had stripped screws and couldn't be fixed. I should have ran then but we needed a handicap van. So I took it and the next day went to autozone and got automotive weatherstrip and backing tape and fixed both issues. Seriously your dealership could not have even done that? Each day with that vehicle we would find something else did not work on it. It was so bad we decided we needed to sell it or trade it in and of course we could not get what we had paid back for it was my main issue in the whole situation. The dealership did work with me on a trade in but I lost my xxx in the deal but am happy with the trade. One final thing I do not appreciate someone trying to patronize me as if I am stupid. I am 50 years old and retired military. Your used car manager I dealt with constantly tried to sway conversation away from the real issues at hand to the point I had heated arguements in the initial piece of crap van deal and in the process of trying to fix the issue with a trade in. He is very deceptive and as far as I am concerned dishonest and this is not what a car lot of your magnitude needs to be associated with. If you want more detail I would be happy to speak with you face to face so you clearly understand my frustration. As far as Ben Franklin is concerned he is your life saver at that dealership, give him the credit due he deserves and put him in a position of overseeing all salesman and proper handling of transactions. He gets a 5 rating but my overall experience I am reluctant even at a 2. Again I would be willing to sit with the owner and discuss my issues should you even care to as I am only one customer.
