Porsche of Riverside listed a 2014 Porsche Cayman S for sale at $63,981. We contacted them and said we would take it, let us know where/how to send the deposit. Requested a confirmation from the dealer to lock in the car. The NEXT day they jack the price UP $4,000 and their response is the "price is the price". No, the price was $63,981 as advertised. My experience overall was pretty good. However, after not being able to make an agreeable deal on Monday, we were then contacted by another salesman the following day trying to help us mak However, after not being able to make an agreeable deal on Monday, we were then contacted by another salesman the following day trying to help us make a deal. Long story short, there were sooooo many people involved in trying to make a deal with us from the dealership that it got overwhelming and we just wanted to work with our original salesman, Sherman Sims, but the other people were reaching out to us on Sherman’s day off. At the end of this story, I was able to contact Sherman and ask him if he could just assist us on his return to work as there were just “too many hands in the pot.,” and Sherman was gracious and professional enough to handle everything for us so it became less chaotic, more professional and less confusing. Because if this, we were able to make a deal on terms that were agreeable to all parties. Thank you to Sherman for saving the day. I would also like to add that Adam in finance who helped us close the deal was AMAZING as well. Very nice, fun, professional and personable man. Great personality. We found a used Macan that was a CPO at Porsche Riverside. I initially made arrangements to see it. A personal event happened that forced me to cancel. The next day, the day I was scheduled to test drive it, one of the Porsche Brand Ambassadors, Austin Day, sent me a personal video of the Macan. He addressed me by name and showed off all of the features and the condition of the car. The video and the effort that he put in for me personally was awesome. We made arrangements to see the Macan once again. This time, we made sure that it was going to be with Austin Day. We had a good feeling about him from the video, and meeting him in person didn't disappoint. Throughout our time and subsequent purchase, Austin was a pleasure to deal with. He has a great personality and is forthright in answering anything that you may ask. Not once did we feel like he was selling us a car. We felt like he was doing his best to help us find the right car for us. There is a difference, and it's huge. In fact, everyone we spoke with there made us feel like they were there to help us. I cannot say enough good things about our buying experience at Porsche Riverside and especially with Austin Day. His attention to detail and care toward his customers was second to none.
