My wife just bought a car from Premier Subaru, and overall I’m really happy with how things went. This is her fourth Subaru (yeah, she’s loyal to the brand), and the car’s been great so far. Our salesperson was awesome—super chill, easy to talk to, and really made the whole thing feel low-stress. We had a couple small hiccups, but they handled everything pretty quick. The only part that really threw us off was the paperwork/insurance meeting at the end. Up until then everything was smooth, and then suddenly it got way more stressful than it needed to be. I get that they have to go over insurance and protection plans, but after spending almost $40k on a car, she wasn’t ready to tack on even more. Once it was clear she wasn’t buying any extras, the vibe shifted fast, and it made her super uncomfortable. At one point the guy mentioned he used to be a cop, and I honestly had no idea why he even said that. Maybe it didn’t mean anything, but in the moment it felt kinda weird and almost like he was trying to intimidate us. Then he started talking like the car was definetly gonna break down and we’d be stuck with a huge bill without the extra coverage, which just stressed her out even more. That part def wasn’t great, but aside from that, the dealership and the sales team were awesome. My wife’s really happy with her Subaru, and Premier Subaru is a solid place overall—we just hope the paperwork part can be a little less intense for future people. More
We had a great buying experience here with Ralph and his manager Parker. Ralph was very open to negotiations, friendly, transparent, and genuine. The whole buying experience from when Ralph introduced himself to us to the delivery of our new Crosstrek went very smoothly. I also want to mention that Eleanor was a very good liaison from her email communications from her first contact with me and our interest in a vehicle from Premier Subaru. I was nervous about this experience and she made the whole thing so calm and fun and easy! She really listened to me and always gave me time to work through my questions and decisions. I really adored working with her! Additionally, Mikayla (spelling?) was shadowing her as a trainee/new employee and she was also kind and friendly and helpful as well! Jack DiNuzzo from financial services was also very kind and helpful and I appreciated how well he explained things to me and his calm presence. Bait and switch! After salesman confirms an ad saying that car was at the delarship to find it’s not. Then after speaking with the sales manager who originally seemed helpful states they made a mistake and can’t even honor the deal they offered on the previous day. No integrity! More
