Went in for an oil change at 7:30 AM and asked if the car could be ready early afternoon. I was told that would be fine. I called at 2:00 PM and was told the car had not been touched but might be in within t could be ready early afternoon. I was told that would be fine. Since I was on a tight schedule from work and had to arrange for someone to drop me off I told them I couldn’t wait that long. I told them I was going to pick up the car. No apology, no offer to do anything for my inconvenience. When I went to pick up the car they just handed me the keys. No apologies, nothing. ****** Update ******* After posting the above I received an e-mail from Dave and brought my car back. He was not only responsive but went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied. As a result I have updated my first impression. They went beyond the call of duty to correct this experience!!! This was a great customer experience. More
We started and ended our search at Princeton VW. Jackie Savastano expressed a genuine interest and knowledge in VW cars yet was incredibly personable and easy to talk to. We looked at the 2013 Jetta at Princeton VW then ventured elsewhere in search of better price and selection. After a sales rep at Hamilton VW angrily lectured us on the differences between incentives and rebates we called Jackie to say we really wanted to work with her at Princeton VW. Jackie was able to find the right car at the right price for us. We could not be happier. Alex Hilgetag secured a loan at a great interest rate for us and guided us through all of the paperwork to finalize the sale. He and Jackie went above and beyond our expectations when they proactively contacted our insurance company prior to our arrival on the day of delivery. Overall a great experience at Princeton VW. I feel very lucky to have landed at Princeton Audi. Everyone I encountered there is a professional from my first phone call to the pick-up of my new vehicle. I was happy with the experience. I had visited one Audi dealership in NJ prior to Princeton Audi. The level of treatment at Princeton was far superior to that of the other dealership. My initial phone call was answered promptly and transfered to a salesman (David Thomas) he had the A3 I was interested in driving and told me the car would be ready to test drive by the time I arrived at the dealership. Everything was as promised. When I confessed that I was also intereted in a manual transmission A4, Mr. Thomas and the sales manager Mr. Martini went the extra mile to ensure I was able to make the right decision, which turned out to be ordering a brand new A3. I will recommend Princeton Audi and specifically Mr. Thomas to my friends and relatives. In my opinion it is worth driving to this dealership, as it takes about an hour to do so from where I live. I plan on bringing my new Audi there for service, as well. More
My fiancee and I drove up to visited Princeton Audi about a month ago to look at a 2010 Lexus RX 350 that we saw online at an excellent price. We setup an appointment the next day right after finding the vehicle and were taken care of promptly when arriving at the dealership. Shortly after, we were introduced to Lou Ann who took the both of us on an excellent test drive. She was extremely friendly from the moment we met her through the rest of the sales process. We never felt pressured to buy and really enjoyed talking with her while all the paperwork was sorted out. She took care of some basic cosmetic fixes and the delivery process went extremely smooth - although I felt like I was signing my life away as there was quite a bit of paperwork compared to some of my previous vehicle purchases. Anyways, our PA registration and plates arrived in the mail about 2 weeks after the sale and the car passed state inspection without any problems and with moderate amounts of brake pad and tire tread remaining. The only reason I gave a 4 for the overall experience was because I thought the folks in charge of detailing the car could have done a better job on the interior. Additionally, our finance guy, Greg, tried to sell us many extras such additional finishing compounds to protect the paint/glass at a price substantially higher than one could simply do themselves with some online shopping and elbow grease. We would certainly go back to buy another car from Lou Ann! More

In particular, I'd like to highlight the following aspects of my experience: + an approved loan that was superior to what I was able to arrange for myself was quickly arranged + the change in insurance from my trade in to the new vehicle was handled very smoothly, eliminating all the usual hassle I've experienced in the past -- in fact, I didn't have to do anything but answer the phone when my insurance company called -- Mr. Hilgetag had already given them all the information! + the extended service options available were very clearly explained, and I did chose one -- something I've not done on any previous new car purchase; + All of the "paper work" associated with the sale was handled very expeditiously, with all details clearly explained +the entire process was done in a relaxed manner, despite what was clearly a very busy sales day This was the best experience I've had for the financial side of a new car purchase.
