I had the check engine light come on and since my car is relatively new, 2025 GLE but also a plug in hybrid, I knew I should have it checked. The activator on the charge door (whatever that is, I am assumi relatively new, 2025 GLE but also a plug in hybrid, I knew I should have it checked. The activator on the charge door (whatever that is, I am assuming that it is importantly for charging) was faulty. It was replaced, my car washed and I have it back and no cost to me other than gas for the loaner car. I was loaned a car very similar to mine which was great as I knew where all the controls were. The only thing I would like is to be able to use aspirational cars for the loaners. I wanted to buy a G wagon for decades having seen the car that traveled over 2 million miles which is in the museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Alas my previous car did not give out until last year and at this age, comfort and ease are more my concerns than adventure, but would love a taste of what I might have had a decade ago. Or having the opportunity to drive a little sporty number, as it could be my next car if it is comfortable as well as fun. I’m sure that the added risks probably recent this, but I can dream. More
