would've liked an E63 loaner for my E55 but can't complain brought my 2005 E55 in for the classic mid 00s E-Class fuel smell outside the car, worked with Katie Lyons who was very friendly and professional. my brought my 2005 E55 in for the classic mid 00s E-Class fuel smell outside the car, worked with Katie Lyons who was very friendly and professional. my final bill was $0 including the loaner since this was a recall, and rallye didn't try to sell me any additional services despite how easy it would've been on an AMG that's (mostly) out of warranty. assuming all this passes review and gets published, anyone who sees this and has an E-Class from this era don't wait too long! the warranty for the fuel tank components is 15 years so anyone with a 2003 or 2004 don't miss your chance! if you got this service done and paid out of pocket, you're likely entitled to reimbursement, so unless money is unlimited definitely consider this. i'd recommend that one get their mercedes serviced here except that it's still a dealership and unless it's for free i almost always say stay clear of them. especially if your car is really fast and/or stick shift, since you can bet that some inexperienced valet kid will move it unsupervised at some point and try to have fun with it lol... i would! also darwin in parts is terrible and gave me the wrong stuff again but oh well. everything worked out (as far as i know) though and i'm happy. rallye seriously has a top notch facility and just walking through the property is a bit of a treat in itself! thanks again to Katie. Its time for by monthly visit. I have an S550 and thank god I purchased the tire insurance. These cars are awesome but the tires they put on them are useless. I am at this dealers I have an S550 and thank god I purchased the tire insurance. These cars are awesome but the tires they put on them are useless. I am at this dealership on an monthly basis (and now this month starting 2xs a month) for the same issue. My rear tire will not hold air because the rim was damaged by a pot hole. Instead of replacing the rim which I have requested multiple times they just send it out to be "repaired". The "repair" usually only lasts from 2 to 4 weeks (this time about a week and a half) before the tire starts to lose air. You would figure that after the first 2 or 3 times they would just replace the rim but they don't so I am heading back again. The only reason why I keep going back is because it is at no cost to me because of the insurance and I get a loaner car while they try to "fix" it. More
