I brought my nearly new Sprinter (under 6,000 miles) in for a battery issue. The starter battery was visibly swollen, overheating, and wouldn’t hold a charge. Multiple independent diagnostics confirmed it for a battery issue. The starter battery was visibly swollen, overheating, and wouldn’t hold a charge. Multiple independent diagnostics confirmed it needed replacement. Despite all this, the dealership denied my warranty claim based solely on a software check (Xentry), without following Mercedes-Benz’s own documented visual inspection procedure. Even worse, the service advisor ignored multiple follow-up emails. Days later, Mercedes' own app flagged the battery again as critically low—proving the issue I brought to them. This isn’t just poor service; it’s unsafe and unacceptable. More
