Broken trunk latch, small piece of metal = $357.46 Rick Case Dealerships consider themselves a profit center and really don't care about fixing your car. I had a broken trunk latch. It's a small piece of metal that takes 5-10 minutes to disassemble the broken one and insert the new one. These guys wanted $214.48 for 1.5 hours for labor, and $142.98 for the part. On top of that, I went in and specifically pointed out that all I need is the trunk latch to be fixed. They insisted that I had to pay for $142 for their multi-point inspection, which had to be done first, or they would not even look at the trunk. After a long while, they got back to me with a whole laundry list of things I needed to get done. I was so pissed off because I had gotten some of those things taken care of weeks earlier at a mechanic near me. They wanted me to spend an additional $1,212.53 to fix all the other stuff. I was so angry I left to get my car fixed elsewhere. Pissed away the $142 for their inspection. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A HYUNDAI NOR A RICK CASE VEHICLE EVER AGAIN! More
