Honest Dealership Experience ⭐️⭐️ We drove all the way from Waddell to Tucson and I even took a day off work because we had already worked out the deal with Royal Kia. The only thing left was the down payment, and they sent us a link to complete it online. However, I refused to send money before seeing and test-driving the vehicle—which I think is completely reasonable when you’re buying a car. The salesperson we had been working with assured us the car would be ready, fully charged, clean, and waiting for us. We were also given the name of Zac Johns as our contact since our original salesperson would not be there. When we arrived, they had to look around to find Zac. Unfortunately, from the moment we met him, he seemed extremely unhappy to be there. He wasn’t friendly, didn’t seem interested in helping, and when we asked questions, his response was that he was “just the middle man.” When we finally got to see the car, it was not fully charged—it was only at 47%—and it was dirty. We also happened to notice a slip indicating that we were expected to pick up the vehicle by 2 PM, yet the car clearly wasn’t ready for us to even properly test-drive. Instead, Zac took us on a very quick drive in a different vehicle. We were then about to proceed with signing the paperwork, but honestly, the overall experience had become so uncomfortable that we decided not to sign anything. So after driving from Waddell to Tucson, taking a day off work, and spending our time and gas getting there, we drove home without the car. 😕 I understand that dealerships can have busy days and things don’t always go perfectly. But when a customer has driven a long distance and a deal has already been worked out, the least you can expect is for the vehicle to be ready and for someone to provide friendly, professional customer service. Maybe Royal Kia needs to invest in a little more customer service training—and a few friendly car salespeople. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Needless to say, this was a very disappointing experience and definitely not the way I expected our car-buying experience to end. More
