Took may vehicle in for a simple oil change and when I got home my engine was smoking. The mechanic forgot to put the oil fill cap back on, so oil sprayed all over the top of my engine and saturated the got home my engine was smoking. The mechanic forgot to put the oil fill cap back on, so oil sprayed all over the top of my engine and saturated the insulation underside of the hood. When I called, I was old to drive it back and they would clean the engine. I refused considering the amount of oil could start a fire. Russ Darrow Honda towed my vehicle back, cleaned the engine, then drove it back to my house. My service advisor was very pleasant to work with throughout this entire ordeal, although I've lost all confidence in Russ Darrow Honda's service department and will not be returning. More
After leaving discovered that one tire was significantly low on air (18 psi driver's side rear) and when I stopped at a gas station to fill up, noticed that all my tire valve caps were missing. Also when checking in was told that the coupon could not be honored because my car isn't a Honda even though the coupon didn't say for Hondas only. I am extremely frustrated with how this situation has been handled. During my last visit, I was charged for an oil change that I now have serious reason to believe was never actually performed. When I raised this concern, your team acknowledged it, told me it would be investigated, and promised a follow-up. That follow-up never happened. Being ignored after such a serious issue is completely unacceptable. I have now driven approximately 4,000 miles under the assumption that my oil had been changed. If it was not, this represents a major failure on your part that could have caused significant and potentially irreversible engine damage due to negligence. At this point, I have completely lost trust in your company. I will not return for any future service unless this matter is properly addressed.
