Took my car in for service for rough idle and losing power when accelerating. They checked the codes and told me that it was carbon buildup and a Buick dealer has to take care of it. I take it to the de power when accelerating. They checked the codes and told me that it was carbon buildup and a Buick dealer has to take care of it. I take it to the dealer and they found out it was the coil pack and the warranty provider will only pay if the repair is done at the dealer I purchased the car. So I had to pay $750 on something that was covered under warranty. I feel this all could have been avoided if the technician just investigated the issue further and confirmed if carbon buildup was truly the issue. More
