VERY POOR and EXPENSIVE buying experience I have been looking for a Jeep for my son who’s about to turn 16 and needs a car to drive to/from school and work. I found what appeared to be a nice I have been looking for a Jeep for my son who’s about to turn 16 and needs a car to drive to/from school and work. I found what appeared to be a nice Jeep at Five Star Ford in Carrollton. The salesperson contacted me and told me vehicle was in very good condition with low mileage and no damage whatsoever. I live in Austin, so I put down a $2500 down-payment and flew to Dallas on Saturday to finish the deal for this vehicle and drive home to give to my son on his birthday next month. It turned out that the car had been abused. It had dents in the rear door, paint was flaking off, it had all types of electronics that didn’t work, tires were missing chunks of tread, rims were scratched and missing the center caps, spare tire mounting hardware was missing, the window tint on every window was torn and flaking off, the CB Antenna fell off when I drove it. It was a mess, the dealer told me he didn’t realize it was in such poor shape and was sorry. I had already spent $300 to fly there, plus Uber, then ended up doing the same go get home. I ended up losing about $800 and a full day due to the dishonesty of this dealership. Since I refused the sale, they were unable to immediately refund the down payment. Please avoid using this dealer if you are looking for a fair deal, especially if you are remote, as I was. More

Sean found only 1 car meeting our requirement, not on the lot, but within the Metroplex. After ensuring the availability of "the car" (a loaded Ford Edge), Sean made delivery arrangements to Sam Pack in Carrollton. The entire transaction was timely and sooo easy. Brandon led us through the optimal financing deal and we had the car the next morning. Alexandra scheduled the tint and ordered the cargo accessories for us. When we we picked up the car, the tint was complete, car washed, and we were inserviced on the car details. During the overview, we noticed a small dent on the passenger door. Sean told us to come in the next week (in the morning) when their "dent guy" is scheduled. I arrived in the morning as instructed and was in/out within 40 minutes. Alexandra had the cargo accessories ready when I was ready to leave. This dealership employs great folks who are friendly and knowledgeable.
