Hello Bill, I understand the Explorer you purchased from Enterprise had the seat belts attached in the 3rd row power seats. Did the sales person at Enterprise explain NOT to operate the power seats in the 3rd row with the seat belts connected? Operating the seats with the belts attached could cause binding. We looked at the vehicle as per your request and found the issue not to be caused by the manufacturer. We discounted the repair/diagnosis by 40%.and you are still unsatisfied. I spoke with Dimitri, he informed me you were invited back to go over your concerns. I am also available to discuss your concerns. Respectfully, Clifford A. Korade VP. 631-589-4800 ext. 135

Can you please tell me where on page 156 of the 2018 explorer manual where it’s states do not fold third seatbelt attached. If that is the fact the third row seat has an obstacle detection system that allows the seat to stop and reverses direction if it hits or obstruct anything so something can be removed. So is if that is the case The obstacle detection is malfunctioning it should’ve performed its job. if there was a snag it should should protected the system . So you charge me $108 for what ? To untangle a seatbelt maybe the seatbelt mechanism wasn’t working properly because the other side was still attached and it was working properly. and show no sign of being tangled. Showed your service advisor and a technician it’s the wasn’t working like I brought it in from inception. So the bottom line you charge me $108 to entangle a seatbelt and they said that was cause and it’s still not working. So if you like discuss his further call me at 631-220-0287

Today Chris A from sayville Ford contacted me and resolved my issue I had. When he contacted me we had a 20 min. Conversation and I felt something that I have not ever gotten from any other dealership. During our conversation he actually wanted to help and wanted me as a customer. I got the feeling Chris actually cares about his customers and wants them to have the best service. With that being said I will let a mistake just be that and move on.
