Great dealership. No pressure, no hassles. Have rolled 9 new cars in about 12 years & will pickup number 10 in a few weeks. Obviously I have good reasons to keep going back. I had a tire defect and needed a new one on short notice. After attempting to replace it at two national chains closer to my house (neither of which had my tire in stock), I called Smythe. Overall, it was the best car buying experience I have seen. Our salesman, Tom Rzasa, was outstanding. He did not have to get up and run to a managers or back office every five minutes, like most car deal seen. Our salesman, Tom Rzasa, was outstanding. Tom was able to answer our questions and research prices, availability and detailed information at his desk. He presented a fair price upfront and was able to adjust prices without getting "approval" at every step. He allowed multiple test drives and hands on experience on our schedule, without the need to babysit our visits. There was never a push for time or "offer good for the day" attitude like most dealers. He also respected the research I walked in with and was able to engage me on that information. The Volvo was my third choice for a new car, but easily became my first choice after my experience in the showroom. Based on my experience with Tom, I highly recommend Smythe Volvo. Make sure you make an appointment to see a salesperson - it does make a difference when time was saved for you. More

I have a 2003 Volvo that is long past warranty. I took the vehicle to a local garage and was advised that the turbo charger was blown and I had to replace it. He further advised that he could do the job for $1,300.00. I was concerned about the difficulty of the job and had the vehicle towed to Smythe Volvo. I was greeted by the Service Manager Sean who waited 45 minutes past their shop closing hours. I might add it was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. He kept his family plans waiting in order to make sure my needs were met. I received a phone call on Tuesday morning. Sean advised that it was not the entire unit but only an intake hose. The repair was done promptly and for under $300.00. I have heard time after time "avoid the dealer, they will take advantage." I have heard that dealership service people work off of commissions. This could not be further from the truth at this dealership. I went to meet with the dealership manager to praise my service experience. I was pleased to find out it was the service manager's brother. They are a family business not a big corporate dealership. I put 120,000 miles on my 2005 Volvo S80 which I gave to my granddaughter and it is still running great. My 2010 Volvo S80 has 52,300 miles and no problems.
