Sales side is fine. Service side is questionable. During my last service appointment both service writers that I interacted with recommended a service that my owner's m Service side is questionable. During my last service appointment both service writers that I interacted with recommended a service that my owner's manual stated was not recommended ever for this particular car. I had an experience in 1999 or 2000 that was very similar. I had a 1993 excel that kept jumping out of gear (4 speed manual transmission) while driving down the road. The service writer in that case recommended an engine tuneup, saying that the tuneup would help the engine and transmission work better together probably eliminating my problem. I turned down that service, sold the car, and purchased another elsewhere. In 2019 I purchased my 2020 Elantra, hoping I would not have the same kind of problem. I guess it's a systemic problem at this dealership. I have purchased my last car from this dealership. More

I was completely satisfied with the whole environment of the service area on the day that I left my car. I was told the parts had to be ordered and my car was not safe to drive. I asked about a rental and t the service area on the day that I left my car. I was told the parts had to be ordered and my car was not safe to drive. I asked about a rental and the nice young man (sorry, I'm horrible with names,) offered me one, free of charge. That was amazing. I appreciate the kindness so much. When I explained that the repair cost was going to really hurt me, he was able to even help me with that. The only thing that has me upset is the fact that I am required to write 15 word minimum. Obviously I don't have a problem with the number. But I do have a problem being forced to do anything. Don't tell me I 'have' to do something. I'm not in a concentration camp. More
My car was scheduled to have the phantom touches and the touch screen fixed. The dealership found other issues that I agreed to have fixed.
