We are so disappointed with our experience with Subaru of Kennesaw. We knew what we wanted to buy (2023 Outback Wilderness Edition), we went to the dealership, found the one we wanted, put down our deposit. Kennesaw. We were informed that there was a "Stop sale" meaning there was a mandatory update on the Starlink system and we could not actually receive the car until that was performed. I thought "OK, I imagined that would take a few days and we can have our car". Well, how wrong was I, it has now been over two weeks and we still don't have our car. I understand that the situation is probably out of the dealership's control BUT, we have not received a single phone call or email or even a smoke signal to update us on the situation, not one, nada, nothing. It has been up to us to contact the dealership on a weekly basis to find out the status of our purchase. You would think after a customer invest a small fortune in a vehicle the dealership would have the courtesy to keep the customer informed of the status of the situation. If we had known this was going to be the experience we would have gone elsewhere where the customer service keeps the customer informed, not because of the extended delay but because of the lack of communication and regular updates. Now, next week we are going on vacation, apparently our car will still not be ready and we will be going to the mountains in our 20 year old less than optimal Nissan instead of the new car we were hoping to drive. NOT a pleasant experience at all. More
