Mr. Lindsay. We have received the pictures you provided of your concerns with the vehicle. The pictures indicate minor surface rust of non-coated subframe components. This is entirely normal for a 7-year-old vehicle. This is not rot or flood damage, The Carfax that was included with your purchase also confirms no flood or other damage. Your allegations are completely false and without merit.

This is not normal for a car with 7000 miles. I sold my 2017 Focus RS last year with 40000 miles that was used all winter in CT for 4 years where they salt and pre-treat with liquid and it looked nothing like this. As for the CarFax, unfortunately not everyone reports everything. Also, the "non-coated subframe components" are painted. Paint is a coating. Even the shocks are rusted. The seat bolster and door sill wear even has me questioning the 7000 miles. The CarFax shows no evidence to support that mileage. There is no service history listed from the original date of purchase in Canada in 2018 until importation into the US this year.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to bring this negative experience to our attention. Cancelations of 3rd party service contracts do take time. to clarify the process, you completed the cancelation request form on Aug 24th. It then gets forwarded to the ESC company for processing after which the ESC company issues a refund to the Lien holder who once received processes the funds and posts to the account in question. Unfortunately, this is not a fast process and is out of the dealership's hands.
