We did not have a favorable experience at Sutton. The vehicle advertised price and the price presented to us after we decided to purchase the vehicle was $3000.00 higher because of the added on "man The vehicle advertised price and the price presented to us after we decided to purchase the vehicle was $3000.00 higher because of the added on "mandatory" LoJack package. I have all those services through State Farm & refused to subscribe to the program. The sales manager did ultimately remove the LoJack charges....it is false advertising to list one price then charge another. The financing was not clear, we were given no choice on lenders, they approached us with a 72 month loan without asking our desired term. We sent them back and requested a 48 month loan. I now have a ding on my credit for a denial of a 72 month loan from PNC Bank, the do not do 72 months on amounts less then a certain amount. I recommend you have your financing done before you get there. We had a problem with the key fob after the papers were signed but before the license plates were on the car, the sales manager accused me of breaking the fob on purpose. When I explained that it fell apart when I removed the key to have the parts department cut me a 2nd key, he again told me I did it on purpose, was lying and that he would do nothing to remedy to broken key fob. At that point I told them I wanted to cancel the purchase & void the contract, the sales manager said he would get right on that. Kevin, our sales agent pulled the manager aside, went back to parts, paid for parts to cut a new insert for the fob out of his pocket & apologized profusely for the managers behavior. Although I feel I purchased a very nice vehicle from Sutton I will never return to the dealership for a purchase or service. Our sales agent, Kevin, was very professional, he answered all our questions & solved the problem with the fob. The fact that the dealership had him pay out of pocket for a broken item on a vehicle before we took possession is disgusting and wrong. The behavior of the sales manager was concerning. I would strongly recommend visiting other dealerships before visiting Sutton Ford. More
