The service department is also wonderful. They are quick with all the routine checks we have had done on our cars and most helpful with our questions. Top Management very rude and mostly condescending I was pricing, and in the market for a NEW 2015 RAV 4 XLE.. I have done over a year of research on the vehicle that I wanted. I had visited sever I was pricing, and in the market for a NEW 2015 RAV 4 XLE.. I have done over a year of research on the vehicle that I wanted. I had visited several other dealerships as well. So I had a very good idea of what a fair price would be , and a fair price for my trade-in.. I had spoken to several sales people there at this dealership previously as well. Anyway I had the actual print out from another dealership for my trade-in value and the price they were giving me for the new vehicle in hand.Since Wallingford Toyota is closest to where I live I thought I would like to purchase from them .... they said it just couldn't be done as the price was "under" invoice and wouldn't even consider anything I said. This would have been my 8th Toyota purchase since 1981. I feel they lost a sale. my understanding is that they have dropped in their standing as a highly rated dealer and now are selling less than 80 new vehicle per month. PS it doesn't matter where you buy your Toyota they still have to service it . I would not recommend buying a vehicle from them ever. but the service department and parts people are very good More

Great Experiance I went to Toyota of Wallingford to look at a used Venza I seen on their website. I was greeted nicely upon entering, told someone will be with me shor I went to Toyota of Wallingford to look at a used Venza I seen on their website. I was greeted nicely upon entering, told someone will be with me shortly and was offered a beverage while I wait. About 5 mins later Tim Roy introduced himself and retrieved the Venza for a test drive. During the drive he kept the conversations to a minimum and answered all my questions. Afterwards he went over the vehicle in full detail and I liked what I saw. While negotiating the sale price and trade-in with Tim the sales manager on duty Dave Blackert came over and sat with us. At first I thought they were going to team up on me but instead Dave and Tim were easy to deal with and vary fair. Plus it saved a lot of time on that whole back-and-forth thing they do. After we agreed on the price Dave excused himself. I asked Tim for a couple of minutes alone to walk around the car once more before signing. After looking at the car in better light I didn't like the color and knew I would regret buying it. I explained this to Tim and he understood and respected my decision. He said he will keep an eye out for me and I left with a friendly handshake. This by far was my best experience at a dealership and hopefully he'll find the right one for me so we can finish what we started. More
