I had a complimentary oil change and advanced cleaning provided by the Mazda corporation. In May, 2020, my 22-year-old son needed a car after totaling his. A new college grad, I told him I'd help him out, financially, but wanted him to map out 4-5 entry-level cars to test drive on a Saturd totaling his. We looked at the entry-level Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Subaru. Last on his list was Mazda. I hadn't given the brand consideration in the past, but this would be my son's car, so we went to Tustin Mazda. I was completely blown away by the value in the Mazda 3, compared to the other aforementioned cars in the same class. I was introduced to Jim Feinstein, Director of Fleet & Internet sales as I made it known this "wasn't my first rodeo" buying a car, and told him I wanted to see the Invoice, and we'd negotiate from there. Jim made this the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. And I've purchased from Ford, VW, Subaru and more recently several Mercedes Benz' and an Audi. I was so impressed with the experience and quality of the product that when my car (an Audi Q5) was turned in, my first stop was Mazda. I emailed Jim to test drive the car a month prior to actually being in the market. This was a very smooth process. Jim was super informative, no-pressure, and stayed in front of me until my Audi was gone. When it was time to actually negotiate the sale, Jim's price was WAY better than any of the competitor's prices. He handled most of the paperwork online ahead of time. The "pick-up" process was easy, quick and painless. The finance person did their job of offering all the additional dealer bells and whistles but with no pressure. I love my new Mazda, and I'm thankful my son took me to the dealership last may, as frankly, I had never given Mazda any consideration in the past. By far, Mazda has the most sporty, powerful, high quality product in every class car they sell. It is as though they are successfully competing with luxury class cars. On both occasions (when I helped my son buy his car, and when I purchased mine), the owner of the dealership, John Patterson, came out to talk with us, and like Jim, made us feel like family.
