My husband and I are super seniors, both 77 years old and above, and this was by far the best car buying experience we have had. This is the second Honda Pilot we have purchased. My husband took our Honda Pi above, and this was by far the best car buying experience we have had. This is the second Honda Pilot we have purchased. My husband took our Honda Pilot to the dealer we purchased our car from to have the oil changed. He was told it would be at least a three hour wait. He then drove to Valley Honda and the oil was changed in less than an hour. We were in the market for a new 2020 Honda Pilot and decided to give Valley Honda a try and boy did we have a great experience. Our salesman, Ken Negley, was knowledgeable and gave us fantastic customer service, going above and beyond in every aspect of car buying. The entire staff at Valley Honda made sure all of our questions were answered before we left the dealership with our new Honda Pilot. If you visit Valley Honda make sure and ask for Ken Negley. Update: I was texting back and forth with a sales associate about a used 2017 Honda CRV EX-L. The sales person offered me a deal and I said I would drive up to get the car. I about arrived when I got associate about a used 2017 Honda CRV EX-L. The sales person offered me a deal and I said I would drive up to get the car. I about arrived when I got a call and the sales associate told me that the car had actually sold THE NIGHT BEFORE! So he led me to believe I could buy a car that wasn't even available! The general manager did end up giving me a call and apologized for my experience. He also tried to make me a good deal on two others cars, but one had been damaged before and the other was $2000 more than the original car I wanted, so they weren't really good deals for me. I ended up buying a used 2018 Honda CRV EX-L at Infiniti of Hoffman Estates with less than half the miles of the 2017 one at Valley Honda for cheaper (even with adding an extended warranty) and with about the same financing Honda was offering. Thus, I have updated my review to 3 stars because Valley Honda did apologize and try to offer me a deal. But I do feel I received better customer service elsewhere and they are a bit too pricey when it comes to their vehicles. They also would only offer $500 for my trade in and Infiniti gave me over a $1000. More
