The entire car buying experience was great. Have done business with Louie Vera and Chris Vera in the past so I decided to come back when I wanted my new Cadillac Escalade ESV. I have never experienced this much displeasure from a lack of customer service to just overall competency. You speak to multiple people about the same issues numerous times yet the same problem lingers e lack of customer service to just overall competency. You speak to multiple people about the same issues numerous times yet the same problem lingers each time and no one seems to have a solution. For this to be a luxury car buying experience it has not lived up to the expectation. The last straw for me was regarding a change in the key alarm battery. I scheduled a service appointment for my Cadillac Escalade. The appointment had an almost 1 week wait due to scheduling; and this was for an oil change. By the time the car was picked up there was an alert to change the key battery. I asked them to take care of it with the service to which they agreed to along with floor mats for the vehicle that have been due for almost 1 year! The car gets returned to me and it’s missing both the mats and the change in battery. I called and spoke with someone who said he wasn’t aware of the mats and battery but that he would order the mats and when they come in I could pick it up and they would change out the battery for the key as well. I obliged and received a call a few days later that the mats were ready for pick up. I came to pick up the mats the next day and when I arrived the associate picked up the mats and placed them in my trunk; didn’t even place them in the proper location. When I asked about the key battery- the associate stated that they were out of key batteries and that I would have to go to a store, buy one, and bring it back to the dealership for them to change for me! I had never heard something so outrageous. An entire Car dealership that sells 4 different models of cars, including a luxury vehicle line such as a Cadillac, doesn’t have key alarm batteries and even worse- they are instructing the customer to go and purchase it from another store and bring it back to them! That was probably the most outlandish comments and requests I’ve heard. I would expect this level of service from an around the way low budget dealership that scams people with bad credit; but a luxury vehicle company with a presence in our community for decades such as Vera!? Makes no sense. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership and serviced it with them, including purchasing a 3 year service plan. I am utterly disappointed by the makeshift subpar level of service and comprehension from the staff. More
