A week ago today (01/26/26), I flew out to Phoenix from Las Vegas to take delivery of a 2018 Subaru Outback 3.6R Touring they had on their lot. I arrived slightly earlier than the arranged appointment time. I was greeted with a smile and immediately asked if I needed a bottle of water or any type of refreshment. The document signing process was quick and progressed with ease.
I took delivery of the vehicle shortly after and drove to where I was staying before traveling back to Las Vegas. It was on that drive that I noticed a noise coming from the vehicle that wasn't apparent on the test drive.
I reached out to General Sales Manager Kari Paulson and explained that I had just purchased the vehicle and the noise that I was hearing. She arranged for me to return in the morning and have the service department take a look. She greeted me the next morning with an amazing smile and firm handshake. She assigned my car over to Jordan Korthals (service advisor) and off it went to the back to be looked at.
Within 20 minutes, Jordan came back to me and said his mechanic found both rear wheel bearings were failing and that they were sending someone to retrieve new ones to be installed within the hour.
The level of service I received from Kari and Jordan were next level throughout the entire service visit. They must have Penske nascar pit crews in the back, because my car was repaired before I knew it. They completed the repairs on the house.
The level of service and care towards a non-audi vehicle shows that they care deeply about any and all customers that purchase vehicles under their roof. It is hard to find that kind of second mile service in the world today. I would definitely consider buying another vehicle from them after this experience.
