Reflecting on my recent car-buying experience at McClarty Nissan on Colonel Glen Road in Little Rock, I wanted to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with Vern Hodge. My goal was to find a safe, reliable used car for my grandson – something with low mileage, a single owner, and a meticulous maintenance history. Vern exceeded all expectations. He located a gem: a 2013 Nissan Altima with only 73,000 miles, meticulously maintained by its original owner, an elderly woman who rarely drove it. The car's condition is exceptional, and the safety ratings are outstanding, exactly what I was looking for. What truly set Vern apart was his exceptional customer service. Bought a 2019 Colorado 3 months ago did not have it a week tell everything started going wrong with it it has been in an out of shop 4 times an still not all fixed an kipp in mind I am paying for all gas for trips back an forth an I live about 2 hours from there an having to pay a 250 dollar deductible for warranty an a truck I just got that should have been inspected before sold it had AAA auto stickers all over it so they were getting ready to send it to auction our just got it from auction an did not do an inspection an just sold it to me an now I have been out tons of money an time an still have a truck my family is afraid to go off anywhere because every time we do something else happens I have ask them to do the right thing many times an do a buy back or straight trade for truck of equal value but they just want do it keep sending it to shop an all trips an time is on my dime

This is the second time we’ve bought a vehicle from Superior in less than a year. While the first experience was great, the second solidified that Superior will be my preferred dealer for the foreseeable future. Tyler was our salesman. We were possibly going to do a multi car deal with trade ins. I told Tyler my goals and what we were open to. To be fair, there were multiple variables. We drove 2 vehicles, discussed options of 4. Needless to say it was a lot and Tyler was so patient with us. Long story short we traded in the wife’s Armada for an Altima. That discussion was easy. There was a little bartering, but it comes with buying a vehicle. We came to a mutual agreement. They were very professional and understanding during that process. As far as my trade in was concerned, the numbers weren’t indicative of my goals and the acknowledged that, understanding if I couldn’t make a deal. The GM and Tyler offered me a solution to refinance with their preferred lender and quoted me a rate, which was a huge help, and great advice. 10/10. I’ll see you guys again, I’m sure of it.

The service department really needs some looking into. We had a battery replaced under warranty about a year or so ago. Now the battery is worthless again. I go into service and they tried to tell me nothing was wrong with the battery( which had already been tested by our mechanic and said it was bad to take it back to Nissan) then turned around to tell me they would put a battery but they wouldn’t warranty a battery that had already been replaced. So this tells me they have crappy parts and won’t stand behind them. That’s ok this battery has cost them another sale as I won’t be buying from them again. Plus I will be sure to let everyone I know how they do business.

I was visiting from out of town and my air conditioner - tathomas2716

I was visiting from out of town and my air conditioner went out and it was 105 degrees. They put in a compressor and charged me 1100 dollars. My car was vibrating after the install. I had already started home on a Sunday when this happened. I had to have surgery and couldn’t return until I was released to drive but I did call and let them know. I brought it back and they said it was the compressor again which was under warranty but I would have to pay labor again for them to replace it which was 440 dollars. I could maybe understand if my car and been running great and this happened months later but it was like that right when I got it back from them. I guess if another compressor was bad that they put in I would have to pay 440 dollars again until they put a good one in my car eventually. I have bought numerous cars over the years and never have I ever had to pay if I picked it my car and something was wrong initially. I have worked retail for 40 years and I never would have treated a customer that way when I was responsible for what was wrong. If you need good customer service you need to see Everett in the Benton area. Good people who care about customer satisfaction. If I knew now what would happen, I would have driven my car home in the heat and used a reliable dealership who cares about the customer. Don’t go near Orr Nissan in Searcy.

They looked at multiple options for my financial situation and credit history, and found the perfect and best way to go with purchasing my new Nissan. Sam and David are the best! A negative experience - Disgruntled customer

I've been a faithful and loyal customer for the last year. I only let them change my oil and service my car since the purchase. I love my car. At not point did the service department tell me my tires were at the point that my tire gaurd protection wouldn't cover the expense. Last oil change my tires were at a 5 and a month later they say they have nails and worn down to a 2. As professional Customer courtesy I should've been told my tires were no longer safe to drive and told me it would be 159.00 for a tire...I have never been so upset with someone I trusted to keep me on the road safely.
