My husband and I were referred to Joe Sabins and John Emerson at Bessey Motors by my brother, Tim Fogg, to discuss our interest in purchasing a Jeep. From the initial chat with Joe, the introduction to John, then the weekend test drive, to yesterday's PURCHASE, we were treated with excellent customer care! Joe was helpful in presenting several options to us. We went into Bessey's wanting a 2-door Jeep and after trying a couple out, decided upon a 4-door. I took my 14 Jeep Gr Cherokee in for a recall issue and Rebecca LaVallee spoke with me about doing regular performance reviews to keep my Jeep in tip top condition. She scheduled the apt and assured me that if one of the procedures recommended for a Jeep with my mileage wasn't found to be necessary it wouldn't be done. Newcastle Chrysler did a thorough review of the systems and only did the ones they found needed to be taken care of. Rebecca even made sure I had a vehicle for the day while my Jeep was in the shop. It was so easy! I really appreciate all the time and care they took to make sure every need was taken care of.

Don’t go to Lee unless you want to be taken advantage of by your typical shady salesmen. First I’m told by Norm that he can “easily get a a soft top thrown in” if I sign tonight on a new wrangler. Awesome. Then I explain I can’t make it happen tonight as I have a second car I’d like to trade it as well since my mom just passed away and I need to get ride of the vehicle. I answer a few questions and he tells me they’ll just cut me a check for it that would be between $1,000 and $1,500 when I bring it in the following week, but let’s keep that as a separate transaction so we can sell the Jeep tonight. We start paperwork. I ask about the soft top. Oh. Well. We can’t give that to you because they’re on backorder (or some lie). Fine. We also can’t put gas in it tonight or clean it since it’s too late. But when you come back with your mom’s car we’ll do it. I come back. Now the general manager knows nothing about the other vehicle. Doesn’t clean it. But gives me the gas (at least). And we’re only going to give you $500 for it because no one promised you anything. We called your salesman. He never had a conversation with you about that.
Promised a free soft top. Didn’t happen.
Promised $1,000 to $1500 for a car. Given $500 after being told I made it up.
Promised the gas and detail a new car should have got. Only got the gas.
I’ve had so many compliments on my new Jeep these last few days. But now I’m debating if I should bring it back, or just tell my story to every person who mentions my Jeep going forward to ensure no one else ever get taken advantage of like I did.

Great Dealer with honest and knowledgeable sales personnel. Meet Joe Parker, salesmen at McDonald Motors while on vacation. I was impressed with Joe and the Dealership. After dealing with a few dealers in my area I Drove all the way back to Bridgton from Pennsylvanian (9.5 Hours) just to buy a truck from Joe. It was well worth it.

I purchased a new 2015 dodge durango from this dealer. I recently brought it in for an engine light that was coming on, going off, and sometimes flashing. I explained the problem they said no worries they would check it out. They called said it just needed spark plugs $340.00 for spark plugs to be replaced. They also at the same time tried to tell me I needed a new radiator it was leaking (it is not per dealer #2) I took the vehicle back and within 10 miles the engine was having the exact same problem. I brought the car back asked them to access the problem again and credit me for the labor that obviously didn't fix the issue. They refused to credit that labor. I took it to another dealer who in less than an hour told me about 4 additional problems that the car had and needed attention that the other dealer failed to mention. If you bring your car to them you better know what needs to be replaced. They will do the bare minimum, not review what may be the root of the problem and just attempt to patch repair the job so you'll be back in or bringing it to another dealer later on. If I Could give the quality of work a 0 I would.

I have purchased two trucks from this dealership and I'm about to purchase another, the people are great, they thrive on customer service unlike other dealerships (Darlings). Mr. Lovejoy has been nothing less then great on finding and getting what I wanted in a truck. Their service department is wonderful to deal with and again unlike (Darlings in Augusta). If you have to travel to Farmington from Augusta it's worth the drive to this dealership and what they don't have they can sure try and find it for you.
