Car salesmen sometimes get a bad reputation which is not justified. But sometimes the bad is earned. When you agree to price and send the requested documents to salesman who ignores you for a day and then sells the vehicle to someone else - then bad reputation is confirmed. Shop elsewhere as you cannot trust these guys.
I scheduled my first service with my new (to me) Volvo... - Shanesully94
I scheduled my first service with my new (to me) Volvo last week. I booked valet online, and got text and email confirmations. The day of pick up John called me and went over all my concerns in detail, and took a list of accessories I was interested in. The vehicle has been in my possession less than a month, so I had a recall done and expressed a few things I found to be quirky. John was very patient and attentive on our calls, and never made any promises he couldn’t keep or excuses for a system error they had which caused my vehicle pick up to be a little late. they even left me the specific loner vehicle I had requested that my wife was interested in purchasing. The service was thorough and they identified a couple issues as I expected and did everything under warranty with no issues at all. They even washed the car for me before returning it. The valet guys were courteous as well, I saw them putting plastic on my seats and cleaning contact areas in both my car and the loaner. So far my first experience with Volvo cars Worcester has been 10/10.
Lied to about Audi Care extended service agreement - Squish34
I purchased a 2018 Audi Q3 at this dealership in October of 2018. The finance director(Mike DeLuca) sold me Audi Care to cover the first 5 or 6 oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, etc. He said the unused services were refundable if I decided to trade or sell the car. Well, I sold the car 8 months later and they won’t refund me for the unused services. Do not trust this dealership!

Love Volvo. Hate Bedard. Had a terrible experience. I was given totally factually incorrect info about the Care by Volvo lease program and then, when I asked to test drive the entry level SUV, I was asked to leave the dealership. I thought they were joking! Talk about age discrimination. I can’t believe the sales person, Johanna, and her manager, simply turned their backs on me (literally!) and asked me to vacate the premises and refused to sell me the car. By far the most egregiously worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. I was ready to acquire a new vehicle and was turned away! Unprofessional and incompetent!

Be wary of follow-through during the sales process. As I am writing this I am still owed over $500 they claimed I would be reimbursed for. After many repeated attempts to get them to send me what they had promised me I am still waiting.
During the sales process the sales manager attempted to upsell me on things another dealership had told me are not worth it and had explained there are better, more cost effective ways to do what I was asking. The reasons they were were trying to get me to unnecessarily spend upwards of $2K were not even accurate by laws of physics and basic math. The sales manager seemed annoyed that I didn't simply say "oh yes, please let me spend $2K for something that could be done for $250".
I originally went to their other dealership in Danvers where I had the opposite experience, but unfortunately they did not have the exact car I was looking for, which is why I ended up at Boston Volvo.
Avoid this branch. Go to another location. I could not be more unsatisfied at this point.
Bought a brand new XC 60, great car and wonderful... - J Ciruolo
Bought a brand new XC 60, great car and wonderful purchase experience. However, we've had an ongoing issue since the purchase and haven't had a return phone call in almost a week. Buy here maybe, but temper your expectations when it comes to customer service.
This is a rather small multi-marque dealership in Hyannis... - volvobuff
This is a rather small multi-marque dealership in Hyannis on Cape Cod selling Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW. Their Volvo inventory is miniscule (roughly one of each model), so almost every sale has to be a special order. I found the sales manager to be friendly but ineffectual, the Volvo salesman (there is only one) to be very nice and helpful, and a BMW salesman to be a bit uptight and snotty. Six years ago, a sales of two BMWs fell through because the sales manager didn't follow up and couldn't get me the cars I wanted on schedule. Three years later, a Volvo sale died on the table because their pricing was simply not competitive. Cape Cod has a lot of well-heeled retirees, and this dealership apparently feels that they don't have to be competitive in either service or price with off-Cape dealerships. They are friendly, laid-back, and generous with test drives, but they don't seem to be very interested in whether you buy a car from them or not. I didn't.
