I brought it to the service department and found the drivers air bag was faulty. They would not give me a vehicle to drive so i could leave the truck with them. I had filled out a Transunion form and was told I was approved. It was just a ploy to get you in the Dealership. I was even told to come in after work everything will be good. Again this is after I asked if I was approved. Wasted over 2 hours of mine and my childs time to tell me we will need a five thousand dollar down payment. So the site said I was approved the person I spoke with on the phone said as well and to come in after work to be denied. I have seen this is something Landers does it is the second time I have had a instance with Landers. The first time I was told to pick something and they said I was good so I did so to be denied after I was told I was good pick a vehicle. Landers needs to change thier way of doing things and be honest. Oh wait a honest car salesman lol right.

On 09/02/2019 I traded in my truck at payoff value and purchased a new one at this dealership. We were approved financing at an acceptable rate, signed papers and left with the truck.
11 days later, we were contacted by "Tony", the Finance Manager, telling us the financing had fallen through, and that we either needed to bring the truck back to the dealership or sign a new contract (+5% higher APR than the original contract and +$60/mo higher payment). I asked about terminating the deal and just taking my trade-in back, along with my down payment. Tony replied, "No. We've already paid for the truck." So they have taken my truck and placed me in a position where I have two choices. Return the truck and walk home, or pay close to double the retail value of the truck due to outrageous finance charges.
I was appalled. Before returning to the dealership to sign this contract I knew I would regret (what choice did I have, really?) I reached out to both GM and the manager of the dealership. I recounted the facts as they happened to both parties. GM stated they would open a case and relay the complaint to the dealership. I spoke with Brent Skinner over the phone and explained the negative experience we've taken from his dealership and asked if there was anything he could do for us as a customer. Perhaps something to retain a customer and act in good faith that the deal had gone from fair to taking advantage of a consumer?
"No", Brent Skinner's words were "As a customer, you don't see our side and what we have already done for you to make this happen" - meaning the new contract with a ridiculously high APR that they had to "pull strings" to make happen. Even an offer of a tank of gas to drive out 30 miles to buy into their deceptive practices would have been a nice band-aid on the wound they've inflicted on our wallets already. Let it be known that I did my part to reach out to all relevant parties to find a solution before resorting to sharing my experience with the public. However, it was made apparent to me that management at this dealership doesn't deal in pragmatic, good faith solutions. "Sorry." is best this business has to offer, from my experience.
This dealership will allow you to leave their lot with their vehicle, with a seemingly great deal, under the impression that the financing was approved and finalized, only to reel you back in, pointing fingers at financial institutions and not their own feigned ignorance of what an approval really entails. Twice, the finance manager gloated about having "been in the business for over 20 years", but for us it's become apparent how those years were spent.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this business in any capacity to anyone. I can guarantee that my family and friends will stay far away from this place. Y'all had a choice and several opportunities to turn this into a positive experience and make a return customer of us and you failed tremendously.
In the end, it may have been completely legal. But legality does not equate morality and in our opinion this is a very immoral business.

The mission statement in the "About Us" section in their website clearly slanders: "Good credit, bad credit, no credit, or if you're just a first time buyer please come see us today!" Well don't depend on that, I had researched all of their reviews and they were surprisingly good, obviously wrote by someone associated with the company. My first experience with the company, I filled out the application and the salesperson (Daniel) proceeded to go to the back room and discuss my application with the financial advisor where as I could hear the whole entire conversation between the two. At one point in the conversation I heard profanity when talking about my application, these people are not professional and have a lack of respect for customers. My opinion, LOOK FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP.

This was my first time ever to deal with Dossett Big 4. Everyone there was so helpful and polite. As soon as I walked through the door my salesman, David Leatherwood, was so courteous and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in buying. Mr. Dosssett even made a point to talk with me and thank me for choosing his dealership. From the test drive to the financing, I could not have asked for nicer people to deal with. After purchasing two vehicles from Mandal I contacted Austin, the sales person who sold me my most recent car about a new purchase. I work 70 hours a week and asked him if he could check some options before I come in to help expedite the process. He agreed then proceeded to ignore me for five days. I was finally able to speak to a difficult sales person, Dave, who made an appointment with me but minutes after speaking to Dave, Austin started TEXTING me (so unprofessional) that he was working on the sale of the vehicle. I’m disgusted and will never give them my business again.

I recently went to another dealership in Tennessee and they excessively ran my credit score down by 100 points. We needed a second car to get around and Dannie Sanders did an awesome job at finding me beyond what I wanted. I'm purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox in which I love. I got approved within a day and knew exactly what was what. The Finance manager Holly offered me everything I needed and the paperwork was the fastest process I have ever experienced in my 20 years of driving. The owner Mike worked with me to make sure i received everything that I needed and wanted. Even after I made the purchase I received a goodie box filled with a thank you card, cookies and Triple M coffee mugs. I have never had this experience ever with any other dealership. This is by far the greatest I've ever had. I will definitely be back to purchase all of my vehicles from them.
