I came to AutoNation Buick GMC West Sahara since I was already a valued customer of GMC in Thousand Oaks, CA. My experience with Buick GMC has been a great one until I came to this location. I was interested in trading in my truck and getting an SUV. To have anyone respond to your emails is like a wait at the DMV. I am a current resident of California and travel for work. When I finally came in I expressed I was interested in buying a car however needed to have my registration done in CA. I made it very clear that I would not move forward with a deal if this was not possible. Both the sales agent and the sales manager assured me it was something that was a simple process to be done and they have done it in the past. They assured me they have a DMV service that will handle this for me & I will have the registration within a few days. They were so promising and confident with their words that I trusted them & moved forward with the deal. That was my biggest mistake. They issued me a temporary registration that would last 15 days. After 5 days I did not hear back from them regarding registration. I had to follow up with the dealership. I was assured by Sales Rep Dave Dubasik they would find out what was going on and they would get back to me. That NEVER happened. 10 days later I still did not hear back from them and again had to follow up with the sales manager EVON. The sales manager told me he was going to get around to calling me that day and forgot to call me the day before. They stated my car had to be driven by one of their drivers to California for a VIN check before registering. Sounds like something the dealership should know about their service since they have "done this before" & is a service they offer. I dropped of my vehicle with a full tank of gas on the 21st and was told it would be ready on the 23rd. They put me in a loaner vehicle. On the 22nd I called the sales manager Evon and was told my vehicle would be ready on the 23rd and he forgot to call me. I came in on the 23rd and guess what? A different sales manager told me my vehicle was not ready & had to again be driven out to California for a smog test. He stated someone should have called me to inform me. That NEVER happened. So my vehicle has now been driven and excess of 800+ miles for the dealerships mistake & incompetence. Upset I messaged Evon and never received a response. When I called him the next day he said he was not aware it needed to be driven out a 2nd time for a smog & would issue me 25c per mile driven. This place obviously has a BIG ISSUE with communication & following up. I called BUICK Corporate to communicate the situation & was told the dealership would issue me another temporary registration for the vehicle until they fixed my issue on the registrations. When I picked up my vehicle on my way to work yesterday (a week later) I received my vehicle with 1/4 tank when I clearly left it to the dealership with a full tank. On top of that there was no temporary registration issues & I have the old expired one on the vehicle. 3 weeks later, no registration, expired temporary registration, 800+ dealership added miles, & cannot drive my car because of expired tags. This place is a joke. If you value your time, money, appreciate honesty & simple communication this in not the place to do business. If I knew I would have had this experience I would have waited 4 months and went to the Thousand Oaks dealership where they value your time & business.
Multiple calls & I have still not received a resolution to the issues listed above.

We have bought two vehicles through Nancy Bertolucci (not sure if I spelled it right). She is awesome and the whole team, including the Service Team bend over backwards to help out a customer. If our car has a problem, they always call and try to get it covered under my warranty. I have had no problems. Robert Singleton is our Service rep.

If Great customer service is the same, We would want the same everytime! Cookie greeted us on the inside waiting area, coffee and pastries. Moe remembered us and suggested the next kind of vehicle we should get! Time was efficient for service request. Tim and the greeter was attentive. What an experience!
Fleet Sales Rocks! - Strada & Corsa
Had a great experience at the dealership. JB & Terry in fleet sales are honest, say what they are going to do and come through on their word. They worked hard to put a tough deal together. I got a much better deal than the other dealer i went to. I'm super happy with the Silverado 6500 Crew Cab 4X4. What a truck! Glad i went to Michael Hohl Chevrolet!
Screwed at service counter - Bilatserkva
Knew what was wrong when I took it there, they said they would look at the car for $130 but that would be applied to bill if work done there. I told the service tech what I wanted when I arrived, he waited till after I agreeded to let them examine the car for the fee that they don't fix just that broken part but replace whole system instead, even though the part of the system they where going to replace was working just fine. $180 repair goes to $420...
