Desert Sun Customer Service Is GREAT! - Desert Doug
I just leased a 2020 Honda HR-V EX from Desert Sun Honda and I LOVE my Honda. I live in Las Cruces and they even delivered my new Honda to me. Justin Ligon is the "BEST" as I also give "KUDOS" to Saul Velasco and Steve Irick for GREAT customer service. Rest assured, all the staff at Desert Sun will go the extra mile to make your deal happen. If for any reason you are NOT happy, speak to General Manager Steve, as he CAN make things happen. Therefore certainly, I will lease or purchase my next Honda from Desert Sun. With that said, take care, stay safe, and God Bless! Desert Doug 😃

Great experience buying my Jeep Renegade. Fernando Salcido was very helpful and personable. He was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured to buy. I would recommend Tate Branch to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle. I would also recommend they ask for Fernando Salcido. Great Salesman! Love my Jeep!
Horrible service and persistant lies - Viceroy
I broke down and had my vehicle brought there because they said they had the parts. On the first day, they diagnosed the problem and said they needed to buy the parts and required that I pay for them up front. Day two they said the parts weren't in and they needed to do further diagnostics. Day three they said they weren't sure if they had the parts or not but didn't have the time to do he diagnostics. Day four they were closed, but assured me they would have the diagnostics done and I would be on the road on day 5. Day 5 they told me they didn't do the diagnotics and if I wasn't satisfied with their work I could take the vehicle--which was partially taken apart--somewhere else. I didn't know how to deal with it so it stayed there. Day 6 they assured me the work would be completed and it wasn't. Day 7 I was told they were 99 percent sure they'd have the work done. Day 8, in the late afternoon, they did the work. They supposedly found something else wrong and replaced the part but never showed me the supposed broken part. Day 9 I got the vehicle back. Day 10 I had to take it to a different shop because they screwed up the work they did on Day 8. They lied to me through out the process and the work performed. They also said they would give me a partial refund which was also a lie. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE HERE FOR REPAIR.

Disappointing - paisom
I brought my Fiat here for a check before a road trip. I was told the cost would be $135 to take a look at the car. When I arrived I asked Nicole if I could talk with the technician to tell him my concerns. She said she would try but couldn't guarantee it, since the tech could get started and she wouldn't know it, and that's her job - to tell the tech what to do. I drove 2.5 hours to get my car serviced here, and I thought that was a reasonable request. I have always talked briefly with the tech at other Fiat service centers. Her answer should have been "sure." I did eventually talk with the tech who was polite. It took nearly three hours for the checkup and Mark was gone for quite a while on the test drive. Tony, the manager eventually approached me and asked if I had questions. I did. I was looking for information on new tires. The cost would be over $700, and tires would need to be ordered. Windshield wipers would be over $40 a piece and also needed to be ordered. OK. So I knew I would have to make another 5 hour round trip. I was willing. Then I got my bill for the checkup which was over $160. I was charge additionally for "Disposing of Hazardous Waste" and a "digital filing fee" (don't know what that is) in addition to the $135. When I questioned the hazardous waste, I was told by Nicole that that is a charge for a checkup (and it was an additional fee, and not optional regardless of the service provided) to get rid of hazardous waste, even though no waste or any fluids were removed from my car. Nicole is chipper and says everything with a smile, but she is not polite or service oriented. She didn't care what I thought. She had no answer to my question about charging for services that were not performed and she was argumentative right from the beginning about any question I had. When I talked to Tony he said it was too late to do anything about the fee, since I was already charged for it, but he would make it right when I returned for tires. I won't be returning, based on this experience. They lost an $800 sale on tires and wipers. I have been to two other Fiat dealer service centers in other states and was a happy return customer who was provided with honest, respectful service. This service center was not up to par.
One of the most gut wrenching experiences around. We... - Josh
One of the most gut wrenching experiences around. We chose to visit this dealer due to the proximity of where we live. From the very moment we showed up no one came out to greet us. As we were getting ready to leave a salesperson finally introduced themselves. After looking around the lot we began to talk numbers (never once allowing them to pull credit). Second negative comes in now; offered below lowest Kelly Blue Book value for trade and their reasoning was "We can buy these all day at the auction for that price". Third, vehicle interested in was "brand new" but they could not explain the 3,200 miles already on it. When asked how they would make the deal work if they really wanted to sell us a vehicle they handed as a paper with extremely low offer on our trade and almost full MSRP price for their vehicle. Last but not least, when asked how they came up with their deal they commented "this covid pandemic has hit the market hard"...in essence the buyer with a trade is hosed and they expect full value for their vehicle. Beware and look everywhere before settling here.

Horrible service department. No calls returned. Answering service has to apologize for all depts and their service. Had a friend take me across town to find out what I neede to do to get in neutral to just get towed to you for service despite only 5K miles. My experience- think twice before you buy from them. Then think again. I will never buy from this dealership again

Up front and helpful - VanPeltJ
It actually took me a few months to figure out the vehicle that I wanted and to get everything together. I worked with the same sales person who was very understanding and went along with all of my detours. He helped me find a truck that I am very happy with that I probably would not have picked out to start with. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that there wasn't much selection at the time that I visited in used trucks. It was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle.
God Aweful Experience - Ruidosobuyer
We received a call from dealership: price, auto and trade in all in agreement We traveled 70 miles spent 5 hours there waiting. We were taken into room with finance person , door was shut. Then we were pressured for 2 hours to purchase extended warranty. In order to get out of room, we agreed. 5 hours for a quick deal. This is new auto, why? You will be sorry if you deal with Jack Key.
nice enough - JESSICA
a typical dealership, nice enough. trying to make a living I guess like most of us so they will sell you whatever you decide. don't let them pressure you. the vehicle will be there tomorrow
