When we stepped through the door, we were greeted warmly. Having made an appointment before arrival, the sales team was ready to help us through the process. No one pushed us into anything. We never felt like we were being pressured. The purchasing process was easy and relaxed. Sales staff went out of their way to make it pleasurable. When the car was delivered it was treated as a celebration, and we were the guests of honor. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt we were being treated with respect. My salesman Moorland was great to work with, no stress and I took my time deciding what I wanted. Multiple test drives, different exploration of options available, and questions answered! Since I had not purchased anything new in over 20 years, I only had not so memorable bad experiences with other dealerships - pushy salesmen, salesmen trying to steal sales, people talking down to me because I'm not a man... BUT Herzog Meier Volkswagen was opposite of any experience I have ever had. Polite, respectful, and NOT pushy. I appreciate also how I can go back anytime if I need anything or have questions about the car. It doesn't end after the papers are signed. It will be fun to get to know my Tiguan!

Gave Tyler Grannis a call asking if he could find a newer F150 with some criteria He called back in an hour finding one about 400 miles away, but was willing to go get it himself and transport if we committed to buy. Warning read everything before signing anything . Dont rush it . Horrible experience after the fact . They acted so nice and helpful but if you rush or act excited they will use that. Read all paper work before signing . They dont deduct down payment from car offer that they tell you . You get excited and sign . Then read later to see they have lied and nothing you can do about it . Also watch getting extended warrenty . I was told 2k bought a 100k mile warrenty got home to noticed the paper work said 45k miles instead . Please read everything before signing anything . We made a mistake by just signing away excited with lack of time and ended up paying way over cost from what sales guy was telling us . Our big mistake was not reading what we were signing trusting it was the way sales guy said . In a hurry . We were told they were selling 2016 nissan versa for 11.5k then after we put down 2k they said that price was after the down payment we paid almost 13.5 total liers to get you excited. Please no matter what they say . Read everything carefully before signing anything .

This small dealership feels warm and friendly. The people are real and down-to-earth, almost like family. You don't get that sense that the salesmen are circling you like a bunch of sharks on a feeding frenzy. I highly recommend Jim Doran Auto of McMinnville! Steve Clay is great.
